In 2009-2010 Axl punched a paparazzi, delayed shows for over two hours, attacked a MYGNR moderator in an extremely profane rant, released a "fuck TMZ" press release, got pissed off at the V8 Supercars show for daring to release a possibly fake quote saying he would have a blast at the show (LOL), cancelled the tour on Twitter, refused to leave the stage at Reading, walked off stage in Dublin, ect. My theory is the leeches became afraid Axl was going to bring the whole thing down and insisted he start taking medication.

He certainly had a busy year!  What happened with Reading and TMZ?

I would suggest that Axl doesn't just get over things or give up, otherwise the NITL would've been a lot shorter, money or not (if you think otherwise, think about how long it took Axl to "forgive" Slash, the NITL tour and possible succeeding albums would've made huuuuuuge amounts of money in 2006-10, with everyone still in their prime).

I just think the guy is near 60. It's hard to be the same Axl anymore. Izzy might be the only guy who hasn't changed that much, from 1991 on he's probably been close to the same guy. Also is your name in reference to Durham, NC? Cool place if it is

    Yes it is:lol:

I know people want "new music" but it's best right now, as well, to appreciate still being able to see bands "live." Just think, 10 years from now, most of the actual "good" rock bands will no longer exist, because most members will have died by that point. Think about it...the majority of members in bands like Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, The Who, ZZ Topp, Rolling Stones, etc...will no longer be on this Earth.

Sad to say, but at that point, you'll be seeing "Nostalgia" tours from piss poor bands like Fall Out Boy for example...and that's about as good as it will get in the rock world...God have mercy on us.

    Excelllent points

  4. I am so sorry for the 'fans' who have been following Guns from back in the day and have waaited and waited for new music.  What do I know but since Slash's comment about not being able to release music I dont think releasing music is on the agenda.  Slash and Duff have their own thing and I really dont think Axl gives a monkeys toss anymore, indeed I have a suspicion that once this world tour is over (and millions will be made) Axl will leave it all behind.

How this tour is still in place is beyond me.

Until we get a further handle on the outbreak, it's the height of irresponsibility to hold large-scale events like concerts.  Whether it be the promoter or the band itself, someone needs to step up and do the right thing.

According to our great leader (UK PM) large gatherings like concerts will not make much difference so Guns can come here as often as they like!

Some interesting scientific-expert evidence put forward for the UK reaction in fairness. Time will only tell which country has gotten it correct.

    This is true..

Perhaps Richard's way of saying dont worry the tour will happen or at least the band wont cancel any gigs? So they have their own plane but they couldn't afford something better than computer print on faux leather - no wonder they must keep touring with those ticket prices being just way too low. ;)

What is this, what does it mean and how does it let us know they are still touring?

the GNAIR paper should be in above post...

One scientist on Joe Rogan's show is not the be all, end all expert.

The only way to draw any significant conclusions about the mortality rate is to look to the data out of South Korea. They are the only country that has done mass testing so they are the only country finding a high percentage of mild and asymptomatic cases.

While many younger people in South Korea are among those that tested positive, the fatality rate for young people is 0.1% or less. For 80+ it is 3.8%. This is far lower than the rate coming out of earlier, worldwide analysis.

Yes, it is more deadly than the flu. The reality is probably somewhere around 3-5 times. No, it isn't a "nothing burger." It is also not Armageddon.

With respect to China, as long as they put protocols in place to test people with symptoms and isolate them if they test positive, the spread will be controlled when they get back to normal. It won't be zero cases but it will be manageable and not turn into an epidemic again.

Interesting, no I am well aware one needs to research more than one source, which I have done and I did find this particular scientist interesting but still inconclusive.

i've never seen so many ambulance in my life, our hospital are full.

GN'R will cancelled the tour very soon. no hope

Gosh I am so sorry you find yourself in this situation.

  9. I am watching a scientist being interviewed by Joe Rogan.   If what he is saying is true then we ALL need to be aware of what we are doing, he said there is much misinformation  and that in fact this virus is going to be much more worse than we are being told.

1 It is around 15 times worse than the flue and in a few more months there are going to be a high amount of deaths.

2 It is NOT an oldg peoples illness, it seems like it is as this is just the begining and the first to die are those with other underlyiing problems.

and lots more, if you get the chance watch this Joe Rogan programme
