  1. 130€ for 4LP version and 99€ for 4CD version where I pre-ordered.
  2. Probably not. Here's what Iommi said about the remix: “I was never happy with the guitar sound, and Cozy was definitely never happy with the drum sound… So, I thought it would be nice to do it for him in a way.” He adds, “I just felt that, without changing any of the songs, there was an opportunity to go back and bring out some of the sounds and make it more what people would expect Sabbath to sound like.” https://www.iommi.com/2024/03/anno-domini-1989-1995/
  3. Headless Cross' remastered music video. Uploaded on Iommi's own YouTube channel. Probably also has something to do with that original four deal.
  4. According to the Danish music store iMusic, BMG has set a May 31 release date for the "Anno Domini 1989-1995" box set of the Tony Martin-era BLACK SABBATH albums. The set contains newly remastered versions of "Headless Cross" (1989),"Tyr" (1990) and "Cross Purposes" (1994),plus a new version of "Forbidden" (1995) that guitarist Tony Iommi remixed specially for the collection. Several albums make their vinyl debut in the LP version of "Anno Domini", while the CD version contains three exclusive bonus tracks: the B-side "Cloak & Dagger" and the Japan-only releases "What's The Use" and "Loser Gets It All". A booklet comes with the set featuring photos, artwork, and liner notes by Hugh Gilmour. The collection also contains a "Headless Cross" poster and a replica concert book from the "Headless Cross" tour. "Anno Domini" picks up BLACK SABBATH's story in 1989, two decades and multiple lineup changes into the band's groundbreaking career as metal originators. At the time, membership had solidified around riffmaster and founding member Tony Iommi, legendary drummer Cozy Powell (JEFF BECK, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE),singer Tony Martin and longtime BLACK SABBATH collaborator and keyboardist Geoff Nicholls (QUARTZ, BANDY LEGS). Included in the set: * "Headless Cross", "Tyr" and "Cross Purposes" newly remastered * "Forbidden" newly remixed by Tony Iommi * 1989 "Headless Cross" tour replica concert book * 40-page book with photos, artwork and new liner notes * Replica color tour poster Headless Cross / Anno Mundi released as single.
  5. In 2019 when the locker leak happened I think GNR could've done what Kiss did when bootleg copies of Carnival of Souls started circulating during their reunion tour. They just released the album officially. Didn't really promote it and never did play any of the songs live. But they were like here, you want these, pay us. Same with GnR. Release it officially, call it Chinese Democracy II: The Final Sessions or something like that. Done.
  6. Yeah WTTJ and SCOM Atmos mixes have been available for a while at streaming services. Besides Amazon Music, Tidal and Apple Music also has those. I think they were released when the remastered version of Appetite box set came, I think, and on the bluray there's Dolby HD and DTS HD 5.1 mixes of the album. I'm not the biggest fan of Atmos/360° mixes in general. I usually listened them once or twice and then end up listening the original stereo version instead. I like Atmos with movies but with music they seem bit gimmicky. More of an curiosity than the real deal.
  7. Deep Purple just released a new animated music video for Smoke On the Water. And according to the credits there's AI technician too. I think this kinda video would have worked better for The General too.
  8. Well he's not the one who's paying studio time for the Schenker record. Gotta save those bucks were you can 😅 Also if he had recorded new vocals for the new songs, I bet people here would probably say something like "Why didn't they just the demo vocals from tha leaks, those were perfectly fine and in fact superior! Only GnR!" 😄
  9. Yes it's Finnish and Estonian name. Basically Finnish version of the name Jeremiah or Jeremy. Here's some famous Jarmo's! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jarmo_(given_name)
  10. And? Even Axl doesn't get sole credit for November Rain or Estranged in a new UYI booklets. Still doesn't mean that he didn't wrote them.
  11. You know she mostly writes her songs solely by herself. There's more songwriters on "Chinese Democracy" than any of her records. Now back to listening to some "Folklore"!
  12. I would say she's bigger than Madonna ever was. Breaking all kinds of records and is one of the influential people in the world. Just recently she broke Elvis Presley’s record for most weeks at No 1 on US album chart. I mean people care who she's voting for.
  13. Rock and metal is still somewhat big here in Europe. And since the song for 2021 in that Loudwire list isn't Zitti e buoni by Måneskin, I think that's an American list mostly. But even here it's more about pop and rap these days. Modern music, what is on the radio at least, is now more and more about solo artists (cheaper for record companies than a band of 5 members) and most importantly what's popular on TikTok in a 15 sec dance video.
  14. I love it. Watching Perhaps video makes me want to go see GnR concert. The General video makes me want to .. I don't know... shut off every electronic device in my flat! 😄
  15. For some reason The General video reminded me of this trippy Sabbath video. Except of course this was made by humans. There are parts that I like in The General video, some interesting ideas, but it's somewhat hard to watch because of all the flickering images. I like that it's like weird trippy dream/nightmare but it gives me some motion sickness. I think they should have use way less AI. Maybe every once in a while but not almost whole video where it becomes jarring to watch. A lot of it don't make sense. And I don't know what's going on the Sabbath video either but at least it's more entertaining and more interesting to watch.
  16. Well it's still very early in the morning in States. My guess is it will be released some time around afternoon or early evening hours when there's more consumption. So 4 - 8 hours from now.
  17. Linkin Parks video for their previously unreleased track "Lost" is probably one of the better AI music videos. At least what I have seen. In the end (hehe) AI is just a tool, it's the people who use it who are responsible for good or bad results with it.
  18. Didn't Axl himself also said during one of those 2009 Q&A chats that nowadays he thinks those videos are kinda corny or something to that effect? Slash I remember saying he preferred Paradise City-style of videos with band playing the song.
  19. I guess they say it's "something special" because of the AI artwork in the video and that way being different than a regular music video.
  20. Last weekend I started listening the box set and found out that Use Your Illusion II had two copies of Disc 2s but no Disc 1. Today I went to the local Äx store and cashier told that it's a know issue, apparently record labels fault. He then ordered me a new version of the box set (for free) and I will give them back this one in change. New one is supposed to arrive sometime next week. Anyone else had this problem?
  21. His stuff with John 5 is great. I especially like this one, Black Sand. It shows that Dave can do more than just hard rock stuff. Too bad that the "DLR Band" album isn't on Spotify etc. But thats why there's Youtube!
