  1. It is very normal for our brains to process trauma differently, we're under stress and not registering things fully as they happen. I'm not blaming these women for that, because I don't think that is an excuse they can even use. Little Michelle is saying things that could not even have happened, if she was so pregnant to the point she had a noticeable belly that Slash was able to see outside the bar, and she miscarried in the bathroom, there is no way she would have been able to just get up and go back out to the bar. I don't want to be graphic, but there would be blood everywhere, she would be in pain, and not to mention what happened to the miscarried baby? Her details about what happened in the storage unit were not concise, and she was refusing to answer questions about it back in that thread, which was weird on her part for someone who wanted to get her story out as she said she did. Why not answer questions then? Why dodge them? Everything I've seen from what she's said does not make sense, at all. I am being rational, I don't care who I am a fan of, if they are accused as something like rape, and there is evidence against them to prove it, I'm siding with the victim. But she's not provided anything to prove her side, except a lot of stories that don't even fit her timeline of happening. I feel sorry for her, but I don't believe her.
  2. Good to see him! He looks better than I do when I run down to my gas station late at night, those poor people have seen me look my worst
  3. And with Trump, there is audio evidence of it. "Grab 'em by the pussy." So gross and embarrassing a U.S president said that and it was caught on tape, along with literally everything else you can find about him with credible evidence. If Raz is so against abusers as he says he is, he needs to take a look in the mirror and sort of some issues of his own first and who he is supporting, because he sounds like a giant hypocrite.
  4. @Scream of the Butterfly Duff brought up Trump's comments because Trump is literally insane lol, and there is video and audio evidence of what a scumbag he is. If there were video and audio evidence of Axl behaving this way, then he'd be on my scumbag list as well, but there isn't, it's a lot of he said, she said. Now, of course there are predators in the music industry, but as I am not a huge follower of the other people mentioned and have no clue about them, I can't say whether they are guilty or not unless I had their case information. I'm not trying to say Axl was some gentleman, he wasn't, none of them were. They acted like cavemen where women were concerned. I think everyone can say he had Erin had an abusive, toxic relationship and if this were something she was talking about, I'd be more likely to believe her. Stephanie I'm not so sure, she only sued him for DV after he sued her first for retaliation. I'd like to learn more about the Chicago girl and what happened there, was this a case of someone trying to be mean and abuse a girl, or was this a BPD or bipolar episode where everyone got kicked out of the apartment? I don't enough about that to make a judgement either. So far, Sheila and Little Michelle come across as liars, I know it's popular to make Axl out to be this cartoonishly evil villain, but I'm not placing blame on him for two things that sound like absolute lies. Their owns words are against them. Do I believe that Slash was picking up and twirling this girl in front of a bar, noticing a pregnant belly and being concerned about it? No, that sounds like some self-insert fanfic on Tumblr. Do I believe she miscarried in the bathroom two seconds after this, was able to clean herself up, got propped up by the band and sang Don't Cry to? No. Do I believe Axl at 23 would have been wanting to settle down with a 15 year old that was having his baby and then was heartbroken and blaming her for an induced abortion or something? Again no, we're back at the fanfiction with that. Then, when it comes to the rape and assault, one second Izzy is there and one second he isn't. At one point it's only Axl, and then its 2-3 men, then no it's just Axl again. Her mother's boyfriend was there and got her, but had nothing to say about a 15 year old being gang-raped and beat? Different mindsets maybe, but in my area, if any man went to pick up their child or a girlfriend's child and could see her beaten and raped, that storage unit would have been torn down with their bare hands. And Duff going around her house, begging her not to press charges and Axl crying everytime he seen her afterward? Just not believable. It sounds like this woman does have some mental issues, and I hope she gets help for them, but as her podcast and book never went anywhere, it doesn't sound like she's a very credible person.
  5. I read through the thread that was linked for me, and she kept adding on more and more details until her story became so grandiose I do not believe it for a second. Her timeline isn't even right, if I understand what was being said in the comments of it correctly. Now I believe she was hanging around the band at 15, which is horrible parenting on her mother's end, but I do not believe for a second anything else happened, especially the being sung Don't Cry by the band while sitting in a bar. I am sorry, but that was so fake and cringey. She was also asked several not hard to understand questions and kept dodging them, tell tell signs of a liar in my opinion. And Duff has tried to re-write the history of the band, I'm guessing he's embarrassed and ashamed of the way they used to act, but this letter written by some diehard Trump supporter ain't exactly what I would call great. Raz just outed his own self out as a liar if what he wrote the second time around was true, so he would be a man who backed another one who raped a 15 year old girl when it happened? And he's been fine with living with that for years? Where is his own call out then if it happened that way. Don't believe, he saw the opportunity to get his Trump agenda out and took it, using this girl's story as a starting point because he got pissed at Duff's more liberal views I am going to assume. They both could win a dramatics award lol
  6. Thank you! I thought that maybe her, this story just doesn't sound true to me either. I mean, some of the things she is talking about here are just not even plausible and there are so many holes in her story
  7. While I don't doubt she was hanging around the band at 15, which is concerning in itself as the adults in her life really failed her for allowing that, isn't this the woman whose story has changed so dramatically that at one point it genuinely sounded like a Lifetime movie drama, whose details also kept changing to the point where even she couldn't keep up with them anymore? Didn't she also have a book in the works as well?
  8. I really don't like to see anyone struggling mentally, and as in awe as I am of the 80s and 90s Axl performances, they also make me kind of sad. I don't know what people were thinking at the time, buts it's so obvious this was someone who was not ok and a show or rant away from a mental breakdown. So, I'll pick old and current Axl over that anytime
  9. I am too, but I think it's absolutely a dismissal strategy. I'm really not sure what comes next after this if Sheila's lawyers bring that up
  10. Considering he played with Axl in his booty shorts and women's clothes era, I don't think Slash minds people's wardrobes besides, wearing what you want without worrying about what people think is very rock n roll imo
  11. Totally agree about Fergie, I know she is a huge fan, but that one was just kinda bad. I'm glad you liked the movie, I thought it should have gotten more recognition at the Oscars but that's just me
  12. I liked the Barbie movie and I'm Just Ken is a fun song, it was cool to see Slash play it. Loved Ryan's suit too
  13. Where in the world did you find these? These seem like very private family photos
  14. I am very excited for this! I love blues and I already know the Beth Hart track is going to be a favorite of mine, I love her
  15. I've given it another chance myself, I used to really dislike it, but it's grown on me lately. I wonder what the huge sudden interest is in it though?
  16. Ok, but now we are back to what we were originally talking about, that blind loyalty is not a good thing for anyone. If it was proven true that someone I liked or cared about did sexually assault someone, of course I'm not having their back but the victims at that point. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm just going to drop this conversation now because wanting to picket outside her house is too extreme for my taste.
  17. I am very sorry that happened to you, I truly hope you have been able to heal from that. I don't think anyone was saying that you personally are the reason that women don't report, just the attitude of having to blindly defend someone was. If you'll read back through the thread, you'll see that many people feel something is off with this case as well
  18. I would love that, I am so curious about that time and would love to learn more about it
  19. While I understand loyalty, we cannot blindly defend anyone, whether on a forum or in our everyday lives. That leads into an unhealthy codependence and doesn't do anyone any favors. I actually leaned into believing Sheila at first, but the more facts that have come out about her story I don't anymore. If you haven't, I recommend reading back through this thread, there is some really good information that has been shared. But welcome to the forum, I hope you like it!
  20. I totally understand! I was told about them through messaging on another site, but the actual newspaper clippings weren't posted as far as I know, just where to find them and then I fell down the rabbit hole. It's not a big group, but there are some folks who are still massive fans who have interesting stuff they've found and are nice enough to share it
  21. Same with me, I came across them about a year or so ago on a site but to my knowledge I don't think they've been shared on any fan or public forum. I have a gnr collection I've been getting together and have found a few things out that makes me very sympathetic towards Axl that has really connected a lot of dots and makes me believe his memories are probably true, as much as I don't like regression therapy and think it causes more harm than good
  22. To be honest none of this horrible mess is our business, I completely agree with that. It is for sure a sad start to a life, my heart is with everyone involved in this. That's true he could have gotten the context from an outside source and more than likely did, that is more reliable than regression therapy that then filled in the blanks with everything else. I only mentioned it because I feel like the entire scenario is being written off as not happening and made up in therapy when there is evidence to back up the kidnapping at least did happen
  23. While I am on the fence about regression therapy myself, it doesn't seem like a very reliable source to get help from, there was a newspaper article that backs up what Axl says happens about being kidnapped at the very least. There were a few about his mother and his biological father, about a couple battery charges and a divorce being denied and then granted the second time, and then the kidnapping. It did confuse me those, in the newspaper article it says there are two children which would have been Axl and his sister, so going by that I believe they are full siblings (not that it matters, there is no full or "half" siblings to me) at the time of the divorce. So I guess their brother is the only half sibling? So, whether or not regression therapy is what uncovered it, I believe it did happen. His mother spoke about what happened and the trial was in the paper, so I'm not sure why there is so much back and forth on whether it happened or not.
  24. I would agree with that, but she has also mixed up, whether intentionally or not, other important details that is so crucial to her case. She was dishonest over something as harmless as her age when it supposedly happened, wasn't able to name one of the biggest hotels in New York it happened at despite knowing the area well, named a medication that wasn't even being prescribed at the time as being in his bathroom just to name a few things. As for the interview part, I'd give her a pass on that, but to my knowledge, Axl has never bragged about any Penthouse or Playboy models or anything like that ever. If she was getting another interview of his mixed up that would be understandable, but I don't think he's ever said anything about having wild times with any kind of adult entertainer like that. All that added up doesn't give her much credibility for her case. I don't doubt she has been abused in the industry she's in, it unfortunately happens every single day, and I do have empathy for her, I'm just not so sure anything happened her, or if it has, she has not helped her case any with these discrepancies
