  1. It is a little odd, but in Axl's defense it wasn't like he had a lot of positive influences. If that is what he needed to keep himself on his feet, I can't judge it
  2. Well, we are going by Axl's own words on that who calls her mom. It does feel more like a mother relationship than a romantic one from what is shown as well.
  3. That wasn't weird at all, it was very nice.
  4. I'm not sure that Axl is bipolar either, but there is definitely something going on with him that is less than normal (but what is normal anyway lol). Most people don't need an almost caretaker that Beta seems to be, and going back to the early days he always had what his managers would call a "handler or baby-sitter." So, it's obvious to me he's not someone that's really ever been able to not need someone around, and there could be a million and one reasons for that we'll never know, but to just say lazy is a bit of an understatement and simplifying that imo. But I am pleasantly surprised the site got that small update, it goes to show it's not going to be completely ignored and I feel it could mean something important down the road.
  5. Did the questioning happen on the 26th? Or was that changed, do we have any updates?
  6. What's funny is I got the complete opposite view of Axl from Slash, Steven, and Duff's autobiographies, and other stories as well from Izzy. The impression I got was that Axl didn't have a lot of game lol the supermodel thing I get though. That's any ego of any rockstar, and I think a lot of them are scouted out not just by Axl's camp but by the promotors of shows as well to keep up that image of attractive women wanting to go to their shows like a lot of bands did and do
  7. First impression of Axl, I was maybe about 10. I'd technically heard their music for my whole life up until that point, my mom is a massive fan, but I was into country at the time and never paid attention to what she played. I was going through her stuff, bored and found Axl's Rolling Stone magazine she'd saved from the 90s and I was in love after that I listened to everything of hers, starting with Appetite for Destruction and was just blown away after really listening for the first time. Especially Mr. Brownstone, I didn't believe her when she told me it was the same singer, and I was so impressed with the different registers he could use for his voice. I never looked back, he has remained my favorite singer and band since then and that was 17 years ago now. Got me in trouble at school quite a bit too for wearing their merch and listening to their music. First baby act of rebellion was refusing to turn a skull logo shirt of theirs inside out and got sent home, good times lol
  8. I would be upset if they broke up again, I haven't had the chance to see them in concert yet and I finally have a vehicle and the money to go when they start touring again, so don't you all put that bad juju out there just yet! They can break up after I see them if they want lol, I maybe in the minority here, but I'd rather take a book over any interview. Axl doesn't do well in interviews, it wouldn't matter to me how long or how long winded the book would be, it would be read within a day
  9. I know nothing when it comes to legal things, is that a meeting between the lawyers or is this to determine the next step in the case?
  10. I could be totally wrong, but I think they also so books or do it periodically. I was looking and it seems like they teamed up with Bono in 2022 for his book tour, unless I just misunderstood the article
  11. I was wondering the same thing, it's the first I've heard it
  12. I am very interested in what this could be, hopefully it means Axl will be using his down time productively
  13. For me, the oddest thing is the bandaids. I know most men Axl's age don't need/want a mother hanging around, but I have no idea what goes through Axl's head. Everyone knows he's not exactly been mentally healthy, so if that's what he needs to get through his day I'm not going to judge for that. I don't hate Beta either, but I do think she saw her goldmine back in the 90's and isn't letting go one bit, she seems affectionate as well, but I wonder if the money wasn't there would she still be doing what she does for him? I had a good laugh about the umbrella, but the bandaids, whoever is doing that seriously please stop it lol
  14. I totally get that, what I was mentioning was not the fact that people couldn't retire at 65 for financial reasons , but that we have some people who would like to remove the legal retirement age from 65 in my area to not having one at all if they had their way
  15. I haven't got to hear that particular rant myself, but I'll give props to Axl, even during his divaish manic moments he had a good eye for spotting trends and future events. I know not everyone here is from the US, but there are some folks who believe the retirement age at 65 is "weak" and no one should be retiring at that age. If those people get their way, we may very well be working until we are all 80
  16. EWW! Axl no, stop doing that I would honest to God rather take a microphone to the face then take home a bloody bandaid
  17. That is... I don't even have words. Who, in their right mind would make a used bandaid bracelet and wear it?? I honestly gagged at that. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt those are even Axl's. Has anyone actually seen him toss his used bandaids into the crowd? I feel like he is too clean to do that
  18. Loved it! I'm a huge Chris fan and he and Slash sounded great together, I can't wait for the rest of it to come out. I keep hoping the one with Beth Hart would be released as a single too but it looks like I'm going to have to wait
  19. Happy birthday Izzy! Still holding out hope you'll be back someday
  20. So amazing to finally see this, if only they would release all the footage they have, but a huge thanks to the one who uploaded it
  21. I'm excited! Any word on when it could be released if it is?
  22. Idk why, but I've always wanted to hear a collab with Bob Seger. Now if we're talking about past artists who are no longer with us too, a Janis Joplin/Axl duet would have been amazing
