  1. Dont get me started with Zelda.. I've been playing TOTK for the last 3 months and still didn't get to the ending.
  2. No way. They won't play it, but they should, it would ease a lot of tension created in the last couple days. But then again, if they are indeed planing to release it next week, I'm sure it would be ok anyways.
  3. Was Appetite for Democracy that bad? I watched the DVD once and never listened to it with headphones (I really despise the Ashba era), didn't know it was like that. I guess everything regarding that release was butchered anyways. Technically less because they had to remix it after Slash, Duff and (maybe) Richard's new layers, but yeah, I know. Still, wasn't this the reason why Axl and Slash were listening to new mixes with different speakers and headphones in Sweden? Back then I speculated that this fact would indicate that the single would be out only by the NA tour. They suck at being professionals, that's for sure. They could animated that video/gif with a lot of dates. It's not a big deal to render and export things like that. IMO, that was just a placeholder for the date before the plan changed®.
  4. Great post. My take is that the mix/mastering wasn't ready. Just speculating from their activity in studios. This is partially biased with hope that the song gets a decent audio treatment, after they learn with the obvious mistake of the brickwalled Hard Skool.
  5. It was a private page in a public domain. The band didn't promote the link, it get leaked. Probably some mock-up for the band and maybe even that agency to approve it or not. Obviously something went wrong with this internal plan. But you're stating that this was live with the band's approval, when it was clearly from the get go that it wasn't. Unless the leak was intentional, which we don't have proof of, that was still a draft that went live but that wasn't actually supposed to. I'm not making excuses for the band, I'm just stating a fact - the band didn't promote anything, this wasn't supposed to be public. You can be frustrated all you want, I am too. I'm mad that the band didn't figure it all out sooner. But I can't blame the band for a page that got leaked with an apparent discarded plan. What I'm saying is that the band gave permission for the marketers to go ahead and make a draft, but didn't approve it at the end. I agree that it was a mistake, I'm just saying that this wasn't the band promoting a date and then backing it up. They didn't promote anything to begin with.
  6. It's not excuse, it's fact. The page wasn't POSTED. It got leaked. And it didn't get post probably because the band didn't approve it, for whatever reason.
  7. Sorry, somehow I missed this. I don't know, it's just my speculation. But it just came to my mind now that Merck said that the 2006 tour helped fund the additional recordings or something like that, so maybe you're right.
  8. Exactly. Axl didn't get along with any other management because they kept pushing him to do what normal artists should do - release music, touring, making money. TB is not the reason for the sloth pace of things, they just don't push Axl enough (which is why Axl wanted them, probably).
  9. The video wasn't posted. The source code of that page still shows this line that indicates it was some kind of testing: <title>Campaign Preview</title>
  10. Probably because of Axl's relationship with David Geffen. That soured a lot when Jimmy Iovine assumed the position and supposedly interfered in CD's production back in early 2000's. I believe there were a lot of egos clashing, but there was still some contractual obligation or just pure hope that Axl would recoup the investment made. Which I think he did with the Dr Pepper Best Buy deal and the tours.
  11. I think from Axl's point of view, the label don't help enough and that hinders the releases. Not saying I agree, but that's how I've always felt is his relationship with the label. Who is defending Team Brazil? As far as I know, the thing is about who is the responsible for a release.
  12. I think we'll know more about it tomorrow or during the weekend in case the pre-save stuff is yet a plan. Thank you for that. I've been saying this for years now how the fanbase direct their anger to mostly Beta instead of the actual responsible - Axl - and always with A LOT of misogyny and racism. It still happens a lot on Discord and other places.
  13. We don't know, there's no indication on anything, but people is freaking out anyways.
  14. I did and my Apple account got blocked Had to unblock it on another device to authorize the Apple Music pre-save thing that in the end didn't work anyways.
  15. Now I want it to be postponed just for the mods to edit the title of this thread to "@Gordon Comstock LIED"
  16. I think Hard Skool also had a troubled release back in 2021. I mean, we thought it would be released before. If they indeed "postponed" it for just about a week, I'd like to think it's because they want it to get it right. Of course I know how things work for this band, but IF this was the reason, I'm more than ok with that. It's not a big deal, really.
  17. Basically you’ll get a notification once the track is available on the streaming service, I believe.
  18. I don't think Hard Skool's tapping is Bucket. Seems like it's just Richard emulating it with his pick, like he does it live. About Absurd, I think the outro part you're referring to is a synth that is very audible on the RIR3 performance.
  19. Yeah, saw that post by a guy named Alex Mendoza. It doesn't have source or proof (audio/video), tho. I asked how does he know, waiting for an answer.
