  1. Well, you're right. Those IG screenshots were indeed used here: https://www.thesyn.com/digitalgunsnroses
  2. It's a marketing agency in New Jersey. https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-syndicate_3/ Yeah, but that would be a bit too early. For GNR standards today, to get past the 1 million mark would take quite some time (albeit they actually considered the sum of all the OTT platforms).
  3. Seems fake to me. Why would they be "grateful for the opportunity" to "support" a single, and then brag about the total views as if the song was already a success? Also, those IG screenshots are amateur at best.
  4. I like Fortus, but he was butt-hurt because he would play all the Bucket stuff in 2006. I think he would do a great job in IRS and TWAT, but I really dislike what he tries to play in Better currently. As far as I know, the soundboard guys had to kinda work it out to add the third guitar player (Bumble) at the last minute, as they were preparing the tour for quite some time before for just Robin and Richard. That's why Bumble was really fucked up in the mix for the first NY shows and the European leg of the 2006 tour. It all started to get better in the UK tour and def in those US dates.
  5. No serious journalist would ever submit questions for a pre-interview, it's offensive to actually suggest that (and trust me, that happens a lot). At best, you can say what general topics you want to cover, but that's it. IMO, it's just not the focus of the interviewer nor the interviewed. If CD was the central subject, then yeah, they should def have more in depth questions. Never heard about that, but I doubt it. From the soundboards and videos I watched from 2002, I never saw any evidence of anything like it. Also they used in-ear monitors, they all have their own mixes there.
  6. Yeah. I thought someone said that was supposed to be for the video? I don't know, maybe I'm misremembering it.
  7. Well, they at least had a version of the record that could have been released in 2000/01, after Bucket's additions. Before that, I agree that the record lacked a bit of guitar work, but the vocals were almost there for 90% of the songs.
  8. My Perhaps covers (from both Robin and the Slash rehearsal one) are still up on YouTube. But I didn't use the leaks as backing tracks.
  9. Freedom of speech does not equal to shit on other people's living room. Yeah, you're "free" to do it, but should you? Wouldn't that have consequences? Funny thing is that freedom of speech is often justification for absurdity, but not for fair criticism or to label things properly as lies.
  10. Well, I was a journalist for 20 years and I can say that people often chose the picture by what they think it will generate more clicks. Every single story about Axl has this "look how decadent he is" angle for this reason too. Also, people from the Entertainment section tends to be more inclined to the alternative and trendy stuff. Axl was always viewed as an easy target for them, especially since he refuses to actually give interviews in the last 30 years.
  11. LOL at "foreign country". It's all assumptions. Nobody had mention Hard Skool either, yet the song existed. Why would any of those people mention an unreleased song? I understand the concept of an idea, but you're making up a whole story to back it up your assumption. The facts: we have this PRL instrumental from the 1999/2000 sessions. Axl mentioned the song in 2001 as the title-track for a follow up album. To me sounds reasonable that the song would be more than just an idea by then. But I don't know, I was just asking.
  12. Why would Axl want the follow-up album to be called PRL if the song never had any lyrics/vocals recorded, according to some of you?
  13. Oh, didn't know about it. It's a cool song, but it's not Axl. It says on the YouTube description: Martin Ferveyear - Mellotron, Synthesizers, Backing Vocals Shaina Shepherd - Backing Vocals
  14. You know what is not right? To call people idiots and make such a big deal for this kind of shit when nobody else give a shit. Seems like you're part of the minority. What is this?
  15. Lol, who's grasping at straws? I didn't see it was for GNR, I was just presenting the possibility and even said it was very unlikely. I believe it could may be for GNR and I don't think this means much as the problem wasn't just recording, but releasing it. And we dont know if Axl wasn't in London already, but a 2-hours flight from Germany is really not a big deal, not sure why would this be so eventful either. Hahaha that was tongue in cheek, but he was indeed inspired in the tour. Maybe he likes Europe more. BTW, the title of the thread is just fine in my opinion. If/when is confirmed that Axl was there to record for a guest spot, then it will be updated. Not sure why people overreacted to this. I know. Maybe the guy wanted to actually be there instead of letting some assistant to do it. Who knows.
  16. But he could also record this track for Schenker in LA. And he could also have recorded anything with Voss in Germany before. Maybe Axl needed in London because thats where/when his "muse" appeared. Also, wasn't Axl in France? I'm not saying this is for a GNR song for sure, I'm just pointing that it's still a possibility, albeit unlikely for the time being. It's not unheard (pun intended) for Axl. He did the same thing with Sebastian Bach.
  17. Like I said before, we don't know if that was just because Axl needed a studio and Slash pointed him to Metropolis after his own experience with Voss.
  18. Or maybe Axl needed a studio to record overdubs and Slash told him about his session for Michael Schenker's album and kinda vouched for Michael Voss work.
  19. I disagree. I think it was professionally mixed indeed, but there's a lot of the punchy-ness that was present on the demos and were absent on the album. It lacks not only a more clear bass, but also the attack that the songs suggest. While I like some of Bumble additions, his rhythm guitars are way too loud in the mix and often changed too much of the original arrangement. The worst was in Street of Dreams and Riad, where his guitar (right channel) pushed away to be condensed in the left channel the others (Richard/Paul and Robin) guitars. Even some of the cool synths from the 2001/02 era were missing in the final version - not because it was edited out, but because it was so low in the mix that you can barely hear it or only noticeable on the stems. I've seen this theory. Not impossible, but very unlikely that the deal is what it's preventing anything. I mean, they did release stuff lately, so it's not like they can't do anything.
  20. I feel like the actual movie version has a longer Slash solo. Not sure. Hahaha I believe you have the right to do so. If anything, the movie shows that daughters should actually see what their moms can do
  21. I watched the movie, it's awesome. And I still have balls. I read somewhere that Wolfgang Van Halen was on this track too? I'm not sure. Josh Freese, as always, is awesome. The whole scene is very funny, with an awesome dancing scene.
