Slash is thrilled that 20 years later people are still saying it isn't GNR without Slash.

Nothing Axl has done in that time period has gotten the band out from under his shadow, and I think deep down he takes more satisfaction from that than we will ever know.

Slash probably wanted Myles to be the lead singer of VR, but I'm sure Duff said no.

Anyways this is dumb, Slash should stop trying so hard to rejoin Guns. It's embarrassing at this point.

This guy might be the biggest piece of shit in the history of the band, and that is saying a lot when you consider that TB has had that position on mortal lock for a decade plus now.

Hell, I stand by Axl would have given his left nut to get some guitar level on the work of Slash's in "Street Child" to work with. That solo is so haunting and epic that Axl could have molded that into a truly epic piece.

Beggars and Hangers on would have been an epic GNR track.

Maybe people will be professional in their criticism when Team Brazil learns/decides to be professional in their management.

There is no place in guns for someone like bucket who wants to actually release new music.

Bumble is the only 1 associated with this group that has even a slight bit of integrity, so I wouldn't be surprised if he is counting down the days until he can get the hell away from them.

On most other rock boards the reaction to this news is "Cool but where's Slash?" We know how important Izzy, Adler and Duff were but to the average ticket buying fan Guns N' Roses will always be about Axl and Slash.

Sadly Axl and TB are the only ones who don't recognize that.

Fairly telling that Duff playing some gigs is the big news of this tour.

Of course Duff agreed to this, first, he's going to have a blast but...he's no fool, he's keeping the wheel greased for the future and any remote possibility of getting the lads back together.

It's absurd that he plays Kings of Chaos shows with Slash/Gilby/Matt and now with Axl, and they are playing the same material from Guns.

Get the band back together already.

I think the biggest issue working against Tommy rejoining The Replacements and Duff rejoining GN'R on a permanent basis is the money.

I doubt highly Duff would ever come back full time as Axl's employee, and that is what will always stand in the way of anything more than a few shows like we see now.

Axl would never be willing to pay Duff what it would cost to have him in the band full time.

I used to agree with this.

I think Slash would love to be back, but don't think he would ever do it as Axl's employee with the knowledge that no music will ever come of it.

I think Slash would chop off his big toe to be in a GNR where they are equal partners again (him/Axl/Duff) that hits the stage on time and releases music.

I genuinely believe Slash has moved on from the idea of ever being happy in a GNR that is hours late to hit the stage and doesn't release original music.

Someone like Steven would take whatever he could get, Slash is passed that at this point I am pretty sure.

Haven't watched the videos, but judging from the comments it just goes to show what could happen if Axl bothered to rehearse before a tour started.

That would suppose he gives 2 shits about the fans, and we know clear as day that is not the case.

He is just out to steal everyone's money and doesn't really care how he sounds when doing it. TB sure as hell doesn't care as they would shove him out there no matter what, so we can't count on them asking him to be more professional and consider practicing before hand.

Part of what makes people hate Axl is that you watch him now and are left thinking to yourself that "you blew up one of the best bands in the world for this?"

People would be more understanding I think if Guns had done anything after Axl ran everyone off, but all he does is tour Slash/Duff's material so you are just left with an empty feeling that his whole power play was a big waste.
