I remember back in August people posted pictures of CD cases at a record stores saying "Chinese Democracy, comming November 23" or something like that. Let me ask you this - what do you guys have besides wishful thinking? I don't see any of you giving us insights into the process of creating an album. It is common sense that things need to get done. Artwork needs to be designed, the CD booklet printed, the CD pressed, mixing and mastering before this, a video needs to be shot, etc. Axl and Merck can't do this all themselves. Many others will be involved and each one is the potential for a leak. I'm not even talking about leaking the album, just one halfway credible leak that something is happening. We haven't even got that. These are facts - more than we've gotten from the believers (for lack of a better word), whose argument amounts to nothing more than "we've got a lot of record executives on the forum that know more than Axl, ho ho ha ha."The only thing we did get so far was a mistake from HD when they jumped the gun with the Better ad. That right there proves that it's impossible to keep something so big under wraps - shit happens. Problem is that since then we've heard nothing - not a good sign. If you want to continue to believe then you have got a lot more blind faith than most of us do.I'm not saying your fairytale scenario can't happen, but please recognize that it's a longshot at this point.EDIT: And yeah, HMV has given us dates before. We've had new members in the past tell stories, which we branded false, only to have them come up smelling of Roses (I shall not ask you to pardon the pun as it was intentional).Some people just dont know how to let go.Your gonna regret giving anymore of your time to axl when your 70 and still standing in front of an empty cd display.You're gonna regret saying that when you're listening to the album.Are people still going on about this album? its not coming out, at least not anytime soonNo we're speaking about the new Razorlight album. KBear, although I take on board what you say... do they really need a video right now? How about releasing the album and then shooting a music video (which will probably be a collaberation of live footage). Guns N' Roses will win this year if they release the record like Axl said they would, from there on in, they can promote it however they want. I dont think anyone really knows what s going on, yet they pass judgement on the Bands personal decisions.Bottom line, we just dont know, so saying Axl is an Asshole, just seems kinda silly, thats all. Axl and Merck don't control the universe. There are standards to the music industry which will not bend and break for Axl Rose. Printing, manufacturing, processing, cover art, booklet printing - all this stuff has to be done. You can't just decide to release it on Monday night and have it ready the next morning. They don't need to do a lot beforehand. But I gotta believe they will have a video ready at least for the week of release. This is when the album will get most of it's media coverage - when TV and newspapers report the album is finally in stores.
