jazjme Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Call me nuts whatever, but I had a thought, and kinda makes sense, , GNR are doing basically 3 hr shows , and people questioned why they were doin so may dates in areas that perhaps people could be split or travel to, but if every night you don't know what your gonna get, as has been proving since the first show of the Asian tour. No damn show has been the same. Maybe if you had a great time and you could get to another show you might have thought otherwise not to , you might reconsider, cause it will be a whole different experience. So strong, and he kept it going for the entire 30 song setlist!So many highlights of the show. I think I took around 200 pictures with my iPhone. I'll upload the good ones probably tomorrow. I have some videos too. I tried to capture the rant about management, and Axl's little talk on the difference between Appetite and Chinese leading into IRS, but it's hard to know whether the audio will have turned out, and also I most definitely missed bits of the speech from switching my phone from camera mode to video recorder mode.Anyways, if it's good, I'll upload it. Axl's voice is fucking golden... like chill sending shivers all night... everyone in the band looks so happy to be there.... brain and robin never had the energy dj and frank haveI TRIED TRIED TRIED to get video.... seriously. the security was out of hand. I moved 6 times to shitty nose bleed seats to get video and no matter where I went within 1 minute I was told to stop. I even tried to bribe a guard and was told if my camera came out for even a second I would be... not escorted out... charged with copyright infringement... I saw the police take a dude out... I saw a girl who was obviuosly texting taken out..I am up loading a few clips right now.. GOOD news is.. I've figured out how to tape ear plugs over my camera mic and can get some pretty awesome video and audio... so edmonton, should be good.I guarantee I can get great boots in saskatoon and regina... we don't much care about security there.. Amazing show guys... axl is on fire... if he is chunky now he won't be in a month after the shows he has been putting on! will post the few vids once they are done loading!
