Is that a joke? Most of the second half is filler.

As for Chinese Democracy, If The World is definately a filler.

Sign O The Times - Prince

From The Choirgirl Hotel - Tori Amos

Harvest - Neil Young

Contraband - Velvet Revolver

Ride The Lightning - Metallica

What Time Is It - The Time

THE STONE ROSES THE STONE ROSES THE STONE ROSES THE STONE ROSES THE STONE ROSES

as much as i'd love to agree...

>don't stop

if they'd put "mersey paradise" or "where angels play" (or both) on there instead of that song it would probably have been the best record of all time.

anyway; fleetwood mac's rumours is the ultimate all killer no filler album. betta recognize

I dunno man I'm actually pretty keen on it. I do think where angels play or elephant stone would've been great for the album though.

Chinese Democracy........

lol

There is no song on CD that's as big of a filler track as "Anything Goes", "Bad Apples" or "Shotgun Blues".

The only song you named that comes close to being "filler" is Shotgun Blues

I guess there are some people dense enough to think "Anything Goes" isn't filler.

Tracks 5 and 8-12 on Chinese Democracy are all below Anything Goes. I enjoy the album but to say that not even one of the songs is mediocre in any way is absurd.

If the World is filler?

Sorry is filler?

Madagascar is filler?

LOL

Sorry and Madagascar are especially filler. Those were the two I thougt about the most when I looked through the cd for filler.

Thats your problem right there. You don't look at music you LISTEN to it!

You're just trying to get me back for the Nirvana comment,

I honestly do think the second half of Nevermind is hit and miss. I barely ever listen to Territorial Pissings, Stay Away and On A Plain.

As for Dangerous, I genuinely don't think there's any filler on that album (providing you can stomach Heal The World).

If The World is probably the third best track on the album or so.

No way. If The World is a dreadful song and by far the worst thing Axl has ever put his vocal to.

It reminds me of that awful Bond theme song Madonna did a few years ago.

Each to their own :) I definitely disagree, I enjoy it far more than Shackler, Better, Catcher, Riad, Scraped, Sorry, Madagascar, I.R.S. and This I Love, but I know I'm in a minority about this.

Madonna's Bond song was indeed terrible.

All AC/DC albums [Yes I'm fucking serious]

I really want to agree, but I just can't put Ballbreaker in there with Love Bomb on it. It is the one AC/DC song I truly dislike.

edit:

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

State Radio - Flag of the Shiners

Rage Against The Machine - Evil Empire (this album is so grossly underrated)

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Right, alot of people tell me that. I don't mind Love Bomb, sure the lyrics are immature but the riff and catchyness of the song make up for it! Plus, Ballbreaker has Hail Caesar, Burning Alive, The Furor, Whiskey on the Rocks, etc that more than make up for those lyrics.

Filler is a nonsensical term. Its a seemingly more well-founded way of saying "I don't like this track/these tracks." Its only result is the inevitable wave of arguments that will consume this thread.
