I don't agree with it, but gotta assume the mods kno what they're doing. Maybe they want to be careful considering Axl's actions towards Madison a few years back...

Other than that, there's not too many good reasons. The point of this forum is for discusssion and speculation, and us fans have a right to that. If Axl doesn't like it, he could always..IDk, RELEASE A NEW ALBUM MORE THAN ONCE EVERY 15 YEARS!!!!

I love Axl to death...the medias unnecessarily tough on him, and that's been beyond rediculous. The media needs to get a grip. But the fans are entitled and right about their actions and response towards him, and Axl cannot defend that point.

Point is, I trust the mods are making the right decisions. IMO some of these threads are funny. The dolphin thread shoulda stayed IMO, bc there's just not much else to discuss about this band. There's just the occasional show, no album, no new music, no videos, no pictures, no axl convos with the fans for 4 years now...nothing but the occasional show with no new songs, and little new to discuss. Not much around here has changed, and I love that the fans have at least tried to change that. The RRHOF was some of the best discussions I've seen in a while but./..to no surprise, Axl was set on dissapointing ppl, and insuring the current GNR name. The current band is phenominal, DJ ashba and bumblefoot owe nothing to slash. Fact. But he knew he would dissapoint ppl, and didn't care. Yeesh Billy Bailey!

Again I love the guy...but there's frustration with him for a reason...

And oh yea, the mods have some explainin to do. But I imagine they have a solid reason..if it's because Axl told them to though, then they're ruining this foirum and will be out of fans quicker than a porn nerd losing his virginity to jenna jameson.

Point was, they're either deleting threads because Axl told them to, or they're in fear of him freaking out on one of them. Other than that they'll respond in this thread with "these threads are rediculous and off topic, and put together by ignorant internet cupcakes"

lmao..NO guys ppl are just bored as hell. No ones spreading rumors about a new album release, which would be fine since the band won't tell us shit, it's just cautionary by the mods.

I, for example, created the "What do you think about Fernando?" topic as a pure nonsense joke with all the "What do you think...?" threads ("What do you think about Jarmo?"; "What do you think about Del James?"...). And some people catched the spirit of the joke and created two funny threads about Vanessa and Walter, the dolphin (!!!) in the same formula. I don't have nothing to do with those offenders. Aside that, what's offensive in calling Fernando a sphynx, a misunderstood genious? It's not a joke with him, but with some people here who tends to think that Axl has a Midas' touch -- everything and everyone he touches turns into a golden genious.

Please, reconsider my arguments on the near future. It's my only wish. Above everything, it's a vexing lack of sense of humour. Sorry to say that.

That's right, and when people log in and see 5 of those joke threads on the main page, they log back out - so we remove them all. No offense mate, but it wasn't a particularly amusing or imaginative thread.

I don't want threads about Vanessa, Fernando and Walter the dolphin the main section here, and neither do the majority of our members. We let joke threads stand in the main section from time to time, but not when they're shit threads that push decent threads out of the way.

I liked the new relaxed MyGNR - it's not our fault the band isn't doing anything noteworthy and we're forced to amuse ourselves.

Since they read these forums so much, maybe Axl and the other members should answer some of the approximately 10 million questions left for them in these subforums, or those forums should just be deleted. No need getting people's hopes up for a band that is as open and welcome to criticism as The Vatican.
