To ask the people who are building this board into something new for all the people who come here to devote a section strictly to an entirely different forum. Why don't we have a HTGTH subforum? Don't think I've ever said I wanted to go back to gnfnr or even that I thought it was a good idea to attempt to continue with it in any way. In fact if you read any of my comments on the subject you'll find I expressed the exact opposite opinion that the place had its time and run its course. Nice attempt to have a go there though Ryan. Good effort at the very least. You just said literally a page ago that this forum should have a special GNFNR subforum, and put it out there as a suggestion. I would call that idea "continuing" GNFNR, Chris. Such a section would only be made to appease your group, not for any other reason. SS wasn't asking the mods to cover the cost, he was offering that the people who don't enjoy your group's presence here, could have their home again and thus leave here. It would thus no longer be a dead forum; all the people who are lamenting GNFNR would be able to be there again.2) Your suggestion would once again only be to appease your group, the one listed in your sig. It would in essence create a forum within a forum, a little fiefdom for your group to claim as their own. As Daria said, if we're gonna do that, why not have a HTGTH subsection for those who want the soul and flavor of GNFNR on MyGNR, or a section for CD.com, or a Madison subsection? Why not break the forum into tiny pieces to appease every little group of people who want this or that?At the end of the day, a group of us--Not the mods--handling the server costs of GNFNR and reinstating the old staff, and not actually moderating it---Would be less messy, less bad overall and would allow for GNFNR to continue existing.Also, if you don't have a group or aren't part of one, what is that on your sig? I think that a lot of the people from GNFNR are being very disrespectful to what HV and Subsy are trying to build here. Suggesting that we have a subforum devoted to that board, really? And a porn thread? Seriously. You have easy access to porn through a number of porn sites, what is the purpose of that? I get that people viewed that board as a safe haven when things were going to shit here and I'm sure that JB worked really hard to make the forum a fun place for you guys, but some (not all) of you are being ridiculous.What do you suggest happens? Things continue as they are with a certain group of people derailing every single Anything Goes topic. It will ruin the forum if it continues. There's a few very loud people screaming about how it's no problem with the derailing of threads, for example, but for the majority of people it's just a big turn off. As I said in the other thread, it doesn't bother me if threads get derailed sometimes. It happens. I do it as well every now and then. But when the same group of people (Mind you, not only talking about Skype Crew here) always end up derailing the threads with their private banters, chats and inside jokes, it's really annoying. I know many people I've talked to in private that has said the same, but they don't say it out loud in public. People don't like conflicts or confrontations, unfortunately, they avoid them as much as possible and they will just stay silent and eventually lose interest and moves on to another place. Why should there be any subsection for such a small forum, when there are many other bigger forums? Just because it's got a small group of very loud people that derails this section of the forum? I never once said I was interested in using such a feature I just threw it out there off the top of my head and now I'm getting a kicking and Miser's pissing his pants over the whole thing.
