James Bond
Silva was just a loose cannon. The ring thing didn't make sense either. How can all those guys wear that one ring? I'll have to see SPECTRE again but I took it to mean that the ring had been passed around, not necessarily that each guy had worn it but rather had come into contact with it. Or it could just be a secret handshake.

SoulMonster
Just saw the last James Bond movie (I honestly don't know the name of it). It was rubbbish.

Georgy Zhukov
Craig is the de facto leader of the franchise.

Crazyman
Spectre comes out on digital smidgital on Jan 22, Blu Ray/DVD on Feb 9th
James Bond
Jesus, only a month away. Skyfall came out in March 2013 (although the UK got it at the end of February). It doesn't take long these days. DAD, for example, didn't hit store shelves until June 2003. Granted, that was like farting in a bottle and revisiting the smell by opening it half a year later. Georgy Zhukov
I remember the wait being long for Skyfall.

DieselDaisy
It is a bit of a guilty camp pleasure, DAD; it is rather like a modern ''so bad they're good film''.
Powerage5
No, it just sucks. Let me put it like this, I'd rather watch The Room (Sober, even) than watch DAD.

Unintentional comic gold.
Georgy Zhukov
Everyone says DAD had a great opening scene. That it did. But the rest of the movie sucked. It was a shit sandwich. Quality bread but there's still shit between them.
James Bond
The opening scene is like putting vanilla icing sugar on a pile of rabbit turds. It might look appealing at first, but underneath the goodies is pure shit.
Georgy Zhukov
Even with the opening scenes it seemed like the set piece was dreamed up by a 12 year old boy. Machine guns, big explosions, fucking hovercrafts. Hovercrafts that shoot missiles and flames.
DieselDaisy
I re-watched Spectre. You can certainly see the flaws in the film - a certain penchant for high camp, franchise gymnastics, implausible scripting and plot holes and a title song which is unbelievably dreary - but I do like it; a good Bond if not one of the better ones. It basically does a lot which is bad but a lot which is rather grand. The cinematography for instance is breathtaking and it has two of the greatest Bond girls - Walz is also fantastic. I can forgive this film its sins somehow.

Unlike QOS where I sat disappointed the whole time, I was able to see through SPECTRE's flaws and just really enjoy it. Still a top Bond for me because there's so much good - the execution was just a little off.
Powerage5
Writing's On The Wall won the Golden Globe for best original song. At first, I was really excited that Bond won a Golden Globe. Then I was immediately ashamed that a giant, steaming turd of a song is what won that Golden Globe
James Bond
Well, I suppose it's at least some type of SPECTRE recognition because I doubt we'll see anything at the Oscars.
Powerage5
I dunno, I kind of figure WOTW will win original song at the Oscars also. It seems to be loved by everyone except the die-hard Bond fans.
James Bond
This is true. It's quite unfortunate. However, it never made it to the number one spot on Billboard's Top 200, so that record is at least still held by a good Bond song (A View To A Kill). Black Sabbath
Finally watched it. I enjoyed it a good bit, but would put it only above QOS for Crain's films.
Georgy Zhukov
AC/DC should do the next film to make up for that gay ass song.
