Georgy Zhukov
YOLO is probably the most parodies Bond film ever. Good call on Ken Adam's volcanic set, that was spectacular. Kissy wasn't in the film much because the actress took longer to learn her lines since she did not spoke a word of English. She said she was going to kill herself if she didn't get the part so they gave her the other role. The whole film just felt awkward. The actress did end up posing nude for Playboy. Georgy Zhukov
The Living Daylights is by far one of John Barry's best work.
DieselDaisy
You Only Live Twice is my third favourite theme after FRWL and OHMSS. Well I like YOLT.

Georgy Zhukov
I've been really wanting to watch Never Say Never Again but I need to find it cheap.I have created a list of my top Bond films but I need to count Never Say Never Again. Powerage5
Just watched The Living Daylights. Pretty good, much better than I remember (I see that being a trend now that I'm re-watching the ones I've only seen once or twice). My list best to worst is something like this (Bearing in mind there's still a few that I haven't seen in years, so may not be remembering them too well):1. Skyfall2. Casino Royale3. From Russia With Love4. Goldfinger5. On Her Majesty's Secret Service6. Live And Let Die7. Thunderball8. The Living Daylights9. Dr. No10. Quantum Of Solace11. For Your Eyes Only12. A View To A Kill13. The Spy Who Loved Me14. Goldeneye15. License To Kill16. Diamonds Are Forever17. Octopussy18. Moonraker19. You Only Live Twice20. Man With The Golden Gun21. Tomorrow Never Dies22. The World Is Not Enough23. Die Another Day
Georgy Zhukov
I really hope fans will grow to love Live and Let Die. The film did not take itself seriously, great performance by Roger Moore. It was a fun film.
DieselDaisy
Didn't they want to remake Thunderball again in the 90's with Timothy Dalton? It was a continuation of the Kevin McClory 'Thunderball' legal spat of the early 1960s. By the 1990s, McClory wanted to do a third Thunderball called 'Warhead 2000AD' - possibly with Dalton (I do not believe he had committed or anything like that). McClory was trying to make it with Sony who then had the rights to Casino Royale. The idea was, using the two stray Bond novels (Casino Royale and Thunderball), to insigate a new and rival Bond franchise to the MGM franchise. MGM sued. In the end Sony and MGM settled out of court (and eventually you got the deal where Sony swapped Casino Royale for Spiderman). McClory died in 2006, the man who devoted his whole life over Thunderball litigation. My Bonds (best to worst)....From Russia With LoveThunderballDr. NoGoldfingerOn Her Majesty's Secret ServiceCasino RoyaleGoldeneyeSkyfallThe Living DaylightsYou Only Live TwiceFor Your Eyes OnlyLicense To KillThe Spy Who Loved MeThe World Is Not EnoughTomorrow Never DiesLive And Let DieOctopussyA View To A KillMan With The Golden GunDiamonds Are ForeverQuantum Of SolaceMoonrakerDie Another Day Edited January 2, 2013 by DieselDaisy

Georgy Zhukov
Was McClory really that obsessed with remaking Thunderball?
Georgy Zhukov
Does anyone else think Brosnan deserved one more film? DAD is a shitty film for a swang song.

Georgy Zhukov
Apparently John Logan will be he sole writer for Bond 24. I hear he is responsible for most of the awesome dialogue for Skyfall. Weird to have Purvis and Wade out after five films. All we need is Sam Mendes and Roger Deakins to come back.
Crazyman
Does anyone else think Brosnan deserved one more film? DAD is a shitty film for a swang song. To be fair, has any Bond (other than Dalton) had a good swan song? DAF, AVTAK and DAD are all some of the worst movies in the series. DieselDaisy
Was McClory really that obsessed with remaking Thunderball? In a word, yes. Thundeball became something of a life's obsession. He was also obsessed with suing Eon over any, Thunderball related elements. The 'anonymous' Blofeld at the start of FYEO was a way to circumnavigate this. DieselDaisy
Dr No, OHMSS, Live And Let Die, The Living Daylights, Goldeneye, Casino Royle; and, Diamonds are Forever, A View To A Kill, Die Another Day. Bond careers tend to start wonderfully and end woefully. Exception are of course, Licence to Kill and the anamoly of OHMSS.
