Tater Totts
Jack Wade needs more love. The CIA oeprative who loves gardening. I watched Goldeneye before The Living Daylights, so I was pretty confused at first I know, right? It was those subtle things the filmmakers make us believe that the films have limited continuiety but every character is the same like Bond. Exactly, although I like that Russian gangster who is in Goldeneye and comes back in The World Is Not EnoughOwns a caviar factory in that one doesnt he? Georgy Zhukov
He was some KGB Agent so bad ass that Bond only wounded him because he had that much respect. He then became one of the most feared Mafia members in Russia, known for cutting up his enemies. Somewhere along the line his heart grows soft and started prospecting caviar. He died tragically of course, knowing his beloved nephew has been murdered.
Crazyman
That cane he has is awesome, though. Also it's cool how he helps Bond at the end.

Crazyman
The scene where he (Bond) kills Elektra is so...I don't know how to put it...unnatural? He shoots her but there's no wound or blood or anything. I thought that was always odd.
Georgy Zhukov
Same can be said about a certain scene in Skyfall. I think they just want to avoid an R rating.
Crazyman
But there's blood in other scenes. I just think it looked really, really weird.

Powerage5
Watched Goldeneye this morning. Much better than I remembered. Not one of my top Bond movies, probably middle-of-the-road-ish. Love the tank chase in St. Petersburg. Hate Brosnan's one liners.
Georgy Zhukov
It all goes down from there. My only problem with the tank chase was how unstoppable Bond was. It was a relief to see him come face to face with an armored train and although he disables it, Alec was one step ahead of him. Georgy Zhukov
On Her Majesty's Secret Service, From Russia With Love, Casino Royale and Skyfall are all equal on awesomeness. They are the BIG FOUR of James Bond.I don't think any Bond girl can beat Diana Rigg. Though Eva Green has a fabulous rack.Tanya Roberts sucks, good one.Fuck BMW. Nothing against the car, but they are the worse Bond cars. The Aston Martin DB5, DBS and the V8 Vantage win across the board. To those who say Moore was the worse Bond. Go watch Pierce Brosnan. Even Lazenby makes him look bad. Edited December 29, 2012 by Georgy Zhukov
DieselDaisy
I like Brosnan for GE. GE is about 7th on my top ten Bonds (I prefer it to Skyfall). I think for the next three Brosnan's he wasn't being fed decent scripts, but, you can criticise him for those three. GE however is his redemption. Georgy Zhukov
Even in GE he felt like he was just trying to be like a mixture of the other four Bond actors. I won't say it is his fault but if he couldn't nail it by the third film, I don't see how he could with a 5th film. Almost like GoldenEye should have been his only film. DieselDaisy
I do not really mind his acting. He was more Mooresque in DAD of course but this was because of the script. I think Brosnan went for a sort of amalgam of Connery and Moore and it worked for me.
Cosmo
Brosnan looked badass as James Bond but his movies SUCK. It's not his fault, I agree, but THEY SUCK SO BAD. I mean... Die Another Day and The World is not Enough are almost unwatchable. Off all JBs, I'd say he's probably my least favorite but I gotta say they never gave him a chance. Not a big fan of Goldeneye either. Too cliché.
Georgy Zhukov
True, you could say that he was given bad scripts and maybe he was asked to play it safe, but he could have done more.

DieselDaisy
I wouldn't call The World Is Not Enough unwatchable. True, it has some script problems but it had some potential, e.g. the boat chase and Electra King.In regards to the books, start here:Ominbus of the first three. Bumble's Bridge Pickup
Casino RoyaleI agree, it is great. On Her Majesty's Secret Service tooOther than those, I've read You Only Live Twice, but wouldn't really recommend it. Also, a book that happens in Finland (forgot the title) is nice, but not written by Fleming.
