Georgy Zhukov
Why is this still a thread?Because Fuck MGM. This thread could be more active if they could've pushed harder to get Bond 24 out in 2 years.Well they won't have an excuse if Bond 24 ends up being shit. Georgy Zhukov
QoS came out just two years after Casino Royale, arguably the reason for its disappointment is the writing. So if they had more than two years to write, this can't be bad.
Powerage5
QoS came out just two years after Casino Royale, arguably the reason for its disappointment is the writing. So if they had more than two years to write, this can't be bad.But the writing was rough because of the writers strike in 2007 and 2008. Craig has said the he had to help rewrite scenes as they were in set to film them, the whole thing was a mess BECAUSE the studio was so intent in keeping to that 2 year schedule. All things considered, I think it's amazing QOS didn't turn out worse.
Georgy Zhukov
It just didn't feel like a James Bond film

DieselDaisy
Licence To Kill had a script and a moderately threatening badguy though: QoS had neither.

Powerage5
Cool, can't wait. But there isn't a new Tanner - the current guy (don't know his name offhand) debuted in QOS.
Crazyman
The opera scene in QoS is amazing. Also, QoS would be a hell of a lot better if they didn't have such quick cuts. It was like you were watching Cloverfield at some points.
Bumble's Bridge Pickup
I don't remember much about QOS. Well I do remember the end scene where he leaves the villain at a random spot in the desert and gives the guy a gasoline can or something. Need to rewatch

Nulla Lex Ink.
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but they just added a bunch of James Bond films onto Netflix. I don't think they have anything past the Dalton era, and they seem to be missing a few Connery/Moore movies. I know they only have one Dalton film and they're missing the Lazenby movie. Just thought you guys might like to know.

Crazyman
Some news...good and bad for Bond 24.Filming will be delayed until December while there's a script re-write going on. Purvis and Wade are both being brought back to add "punch" to the script. The source is the Daily Mail, but I still have a feeling it's true. I really, really hope they don't go back to the Brosnan-era scripts...Daily Mail link Edited June 28, 2014 by Crazyman

Val22
I hope Daniel Craig is still James Bond. I think he's the best since Sean Connery.I like his Bond. He delivers those one liners very well.
Crazyman
I see John Cleese criticized the Craig films as gritty and humorless. He makes it seem like being gritty is a bad thing and we should go back to the Brosnan era of high budget bullshit. Also I think the humor in the Craig films is more subtle, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
