All I can say was the trip to Vegas was so worh seeing GNR!

You can keep Vegas, but seeing Axl and GNR perform again since last year was awesome.

Axl looked and sounded great. He was all over the stage interacting with fans and his band members.

When some dick threw water on the bass player, Axl stopped in the middie of Better to tell him off and the guy was thrown out. I was yelling to throw the fucker out and other fans around us did the same thing. What a stupid asshole.

I'm sorry but Vegas is full of jerks. No one has manners and they bump into you and keep on going. The people that were nice were the out-of-towers like us. Honestly, I wasn't impressed and all the sex shit on the streets is just so annoying and make me sick to my stomach. Vegas makes New York look like the Vacatin. lol

anyway, we had a blast. My kids and I also visited Eli Roth's Goretorium on the strip. If you're a fan of the director of Hostel 1 and 2, Eli Roth, I highly recommend this attraction. It's not just scary stuff but actors interacting with you. It was scary good fun. Being a huge fan of horror, my kids and I guessed alot of the shit before it happened, but it was cool to see.

The Paris hotel was so pretty. The hard rock was cool enough with rock stuff. They had one of Axl's cars which was cool to see. Also his crocidile jacket from the 90's. Man, it still had the tail on that thing. lol

anyway, GNR blew me away again. I'm so glad my kids and I made the trip, but honestly, I don't think I'll be visiting Vegas anytime soon.

The mountains from my window in the hotel were just beautiful!

I thought this was cute. At least we know, Axl still has all his hair! lol
Better is stopped and restarted so security can deal with asshole throwing shit

hope the bastard was thrown out

Yes, he was! I loved how Axl stopped the song and told him off and then me and some other people started yelling throw him out and he did!

Other than Dj Ashba's solo this is the same setlist as the last show so far.

Don't Cry

I loved DJ's solo. I thought the song was so pretty and he played it so well.

I caught the show on Sat night and it was nothing short of fantastic, in fact my ears are still ringing! Started at 11:35pm (only a 25 min changeover as Filter played until 11:10pm) and went straight through for 3 hours until 2:35am. The placed was absolutely packed, must've been a sellout or close to it. I took a friend of mine who's not a hardcore GNR fan and he loved the show and thought Axl sounded great. I think a lot of people on here are way too critical and just like to complain about stuff. To the average fan, the band was tight, the solos kicked ass, and Axl killed it for 3 hours. I was in GA and about had a heart attack when the guy threw the beer onstage during Better. I thought there was a good possibility that the band would leave the stage and the show would be over. Thankfully Axl just stopped long enough to kick the bastard out and not ruin the show for everyone else. I loved that Catcher was added but would've much rather had TWAT (or even Maddy) during the encore than the 2 covers. The Seeker is a great addition though and Axl seems to have a good time singing it. The crowd went pretty nuts for Civil War, which should be a setlist standard from now on. I also would love to see IRS back in the setlist, I think it's an overlooked track on CD. But overall a killer show and even better than when I saw them in Houston last year.

There's so much metal on Axl that walking close to a magnet would be dangerous. :)

Does anyone know what the 'other' medallions are that hang around his neck? I have been trying to figure it out, and I honestly have no clue.

It's clearly a few diamond encrusted crosses, and like 3 pointy things. Anyone have a clue what the pointy things are?
