Black Sabbath Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Sounds better than other performances and Izzy looks great!
TheDemocracyRose Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Nice to see Izzy. They both sounds great!
Bruno P. Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Awesome! Both sounded great. I just wish Ron could shred a bit more so the old bitter fanboys would all go crazy
cbgnr Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm so glad I heard that song back in 2010. Listen to the difference. I prefer the more recent performance it sounds like the original.
TheDemocracyRose Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) Axl nails it!!!! Thanks HighV Edited November 25, 2012 by TheDemocracyRose
Village Gorilla Head Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm so glad I heard that song back in 2010. Listen to the difference. I prefer the more recent performance it sounds like the original.I think it sounds a lot more polished - Axl's finally working out how to sing it live. Sounds great.
Black Sabbath Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Honestly, the performance from Vegas #11 is one of the best I've heard of Catcher and I much prefer that to the 2010 live-version.
Purely Magnetic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Catcher was a major highlight of the show for me on Friday! It made me really wish they would have started making this a regular soon, like back in the Up Close and Personal Tour. The crowd reaction was great on Friday night. Everyone had their hands in the air waving them side to side during the NaNaNa's, Axl seemed really pleased by this. I think this could have caught on a crowd favorite if it would have been consistently played throughout the years of the ChiDem tour.
Angeles_ Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Long story, but Beta totally stuck her neck out for us when my husband got kicked at during last song before encore because he would not let security confiscate the sign I made. It said Giving Thanks To GNR for 25 years. Bumblefoot yelled at security for us and brought the sign on stage for everyone to see! is this??
jimb0 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 If u count all the off time is it still 25 years?but honestly... i love that story
Gordon Comstock Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 This was the better of the two shows I saw this weekend. Dead Flowers was a cool surprise, and I'd never seen it, Used To Love Her, Catcher, or 14 Years, so there were quite a few new songs for me. Izzy was fuckin' cool! Some photos:http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152316443750512.948240.742145511&type=1&l=873abf1857

That's the one!!!If u count all the off time is it still 25 years?but honestly... i love that story It counts, we've been listening to this music for 25 years as fans, that is what I'm thankful for the music we all love. The sign was homage to the fact that the show was the day after Thanksgiving and celebrating 25 years since Appetite for Destruction.
Black Sabbath Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Haha, I see your husband and half of your face in one of those pictures, PM.

highvoltage Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Aw glad you guys liked them. I didn't shoot much more but ill go through and see if anything it worth upping. My video of Sorry from Sydney in 2010 is an even better watch (visually) if you haven't seen it yet.
NicoRourke Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 What a GREAT version! Bumble is just pure gold, plain and simple. Guitar work in this is so good + Axl nails it! Thank you for the video!!

Thank you for the video!!That just sounded effortless, sounded wonderful without anyone breaking a sweat. The visuals on the screen also look really interesting.
highvoltage Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 I was completely wasted by this point in the show, so the filming gets shaky... and I was singing along pretty horribly... So, sorry! I uploaded it anyway. Don't Cry about it now. EDIT: I should never have uploaded that... super embarrassing.
axlrosefan4life Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Anyone have a picture of Axl with his whistle from this show?
