Not only was it awesome on its own, it gave birth to the entire DC Animated Universe.First two seasons of Xmen were pure awesomeness, then they put in the Dark Phoenix saga which was a big deal in the comics because comic book readers are weird but to me it was pure shit, had a mostly weak third and forth season, ended with a magnificent series finale and then got annoyingly prolonged a short post season that was again mostly weak.
