Amateurs.

No clue what was 80's and what was 90's, nor do I care. Cartoons that were fucking awesome:

- Thundercats

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

- GI Joe

- Transformers (generation 1 and 2)

- Thundercats (again)

- X-men

Captain Planet

Worst cartoon ever! I watched it too but man that stuff was bad. Especially the kid who's power was heart. Poor bastard!

The show was awesome as a kid! I noticed it was on TV a few years ago, so I recorded a few episodes on DVR. I went back and watched them later. Terrible stuff.

Batman: the Animated Series

Spiderman

Xmen

BTAS kills the other 2 so dead. Not only was it awesome on its own, it gave birth to the entire DC Animated Universe.

First two seasons of Xmen were pure awesomeness, then they put in the Dark Phoenix saga which was a big deal in the comics because comic book readers are weird but to me it was pure shit, had a mostly weak third and forth season, ended with a magnificent series finale and then got annoyingly prolonged a short post season that was again mostly weak.

It's the same thing with Thundercats. That show has not aged well at all...
