You sort of hit the nail on the head there - with a few obvious falsehoods.

First - you don't see the difference? One group is voicing their opinion about GnR. This is a GNR forum. It is an open forum where people are allowed to discuss all aspects of GnR. It isn't a forum like HTGTH where people aren't allowed to have an opinion. YOUR group attacks other posters. Which is against the forum rules.

Do you not see the difference? One group says something negative about the band in which the forum is dedicated to. The other group is insulting other posters. Which is worse? One group is talking about GnR while one group is just insulting other posters. Go back and look at these threads and see who does the most personal attacks on other forum members. The results aren't even close.

The majority of the group you are talking about are actually big Axl and GnR fans that are just unhappy and frustrated with all the crap that Axl has done to the band.

If Axl put out music and ran this band like every other band in the world, then 90% of the criticism on this forum would dissapear. But instead, every time something positive starts to happen, this band shoots themselves in the foot.

Did you like the music videos from the album?

Did you like all the media Axl did to promote the album?

Did you like the Harley Davidson commerical?

Did you like the Wedding and private show for the fashion designer?

Did you like how he handled the RNR HOF and all the positive buzz it brought the band?

Did you like him suing activision? Did that create a lot of positivity for ya?

Did you like that the CD booklet had errors in it?

Did you like how long it took to release CD?

Did you like the late show times?

Did you like the show that got the power pulled?

Do you like the GnR baseball cards - did you get the whole set? The Bobby Brown and Winger cards?

Did you like the positive buzz from the VH1 show getting turned into another GnR joke?

Did you like the Rio performance? The one where he forgot lyrics and screwed up lyrics?

Did you like the MTV awards show performance?

Did you like the Bridge charity performance?

Do you enjoy band members not having any idea what is going on with their own band? Think about that.

Do you like not knowing anything about your favorite band? When is the next album coming out?

How many more things do I need to list?

Most of the people on here aren't mad because Slash isn't in the band. I don't even listen to the majority of his work post-GnR. I thought VR was boring as could be. You are taking 3-4 members and trying to associate ALL non-worshippers into their group and it simply isn't true.

Release music, do a few interviews, show up for shows prepared and ready to go...........and almost all the negativity goes away.

First of all, i'm tired of opening up every thread and seeing comment after comment with people criticising the band, anything they do and every member in it. Most of the time it's people thinking they're funny, even though they're really not.

And secondly, you are exactly the type of 'fan' that i'm really tired of around here, and exactly why I don't frequent this forum all that much. Look at your post. Completely negative. Nothing but total negativity. And it's like....what the hell are you talking about? Chill the fuck out. I've thoroughly enjoyed GNR over the last few years, the release of Chinese Democracy and the tour that followed it. I'm delighted the band even exists today, that's without being as strong as they are today. I'm delighted Axl is back and performing out there as well as he does. I really like most of the album. Really enjoyed seeing them evolve as a band, watching loads of footage of the tour, and attending 3 gigs myself which were 3 of the best nights on my life.

Half of those questions aren't even relevant to anything. Minute errors in a booklet? Suing Activision? A commercial? Seriously dude? Don't see why you'd bring up late shows either when the old lineup did the same, (which apparently you were a fan of,) not just the new band. But as a matter of fact, personally I couldn't give a damn if they started 3am. I also don't see why you'd bring up 2 bad shows. (i'm not counting one way back in 2002 from a different lineup ffs.) 2 out of how many over the last 4 or 5 years? Bit harsh don't you think, rofl. Also, the show where the power got pulled, you're referring to Reading 2010, right? Yeah....um.... that was pretty damn good...

Were you not happy when Chinese Democracy finally got released then?

Don't you like any of the album then?

Have you attended any of their shows? Did you enjoy them?

Don't you think the current lineup is strong? And getting stronger and stronger over the years?

Aren't you glad that Axl is back and performing pretty damn well on a regular basis? I think it's been an immense comeback overall myself.

Apart from those 2 shows, (lol, still can't believe that) did you enjoy the other hundreds of fantastic gigs they've played over the years?

And no i wasn't lying, i still think you haven't proved anything that you were claiming post your leaks. And i still think there's nothing else out there in terms of leaks in forum people's hands.

What i did say (and that was extremely manipulated by some users on your forum) was that i believed that some producers and people involved in the band might have those songs shelved somewhere (and that's what Skwerl referred to, when he said there were 10 unheard songs out there). Skwerl never said that people that would be in the forums would have access to those songs or would have them for that matter.

A lot of people from your forum and other forums started claiming that i said that i didn't believe that there were songs out there at all... which is not what i said at all. I said i don't believe King Offspring or other people that do visit the forums have songs at all. People that don't have anything with the band, and claim to have them years after years, and i gave you Brodie's and Offspring's example. And i said that i didn't think there was this underground movement of traders that collect unheard songs, this hoarders, that you so like to claim it exists.

And as i said before...out of all the people i have met in the forums MSL, you used to represent something "against the system", someone who would stir good stuff and be all for the community, and now you have turned into a Jarmo kind of guy, and that's the reason i left your forum...

Hmmmm . . . maybe it's just that Jarmo and I have both pointed out the flaws in your logic? I don't think we have much in common beyond that.

Now that's pretty flawed...Jarmo pointed out that the fact that the band was touring didn't have anything to with it holding everyone on making a new album. That was the main idea on his logic....and i on the other hand defended that touring all the time could complicate the making of a new album and consequently its release...he tried to come up with everything he could to run me down, and even banned me.

Funny enough one week later Bumblefoot came out on the press saying that indeed touring all the time had been one of the reasons why the band can't get into a studio to make a new album...

So yeah i'm sure he pointed out the flaws in my logic, needless to say he didn't have a clue, Bumblefoot would confirm what i said a week later. So i think even though i got banned, and Jarmo tried to run away from the topic several times :xmasssanta:

I find there to be many logical flaws in your post, which I will be happy to list for you here.

1. Comparing shows from ten years ago that previewed a handful of unfinished songs the band was working on to shows played after the release of the album with 7-12 finished songs from the record is a terrible comparison.

2. Nobody is forced to go to shows and is free to stay home if they're tired of going to shows.

3. You complain that the band didn't release a new record even though they actually did. So then, you complain that they didn't play your favorite songs, as if that means it doesn't count. Completely ridiculous.

4. The 2011/2012 tour was the first US tour since the release of the album. Many other markets were hit for the first time since the release of the album in 2011 and 2012. Not just 2 or 3 countries as you suggest.

5. If you're bored . . . LEAVE.

Unfortunately though, people do not get bored of trolling, which seems to be the only reason they are here because they sure as hell are not fans.
