luciusfunk Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Just finished season three. One of the best seasons. Hardly a bad episode. Worst episode: I.F.T. Best episode: Full Measure. "Your boss is gonna need me. 6353 Juan Tabo avenue apartment 6. Yeah." 1 Quote

"Your boss is gonna need me. 6353 Juan Tabo avenue apartment 6. Yeah."Always see people talking about how incredible Half Measures is but to me, Full Measure was the episode of season 3.Oh, and I didn't realize until recently - I.F.T. stands for "I fucked Ted". I felt stupid when I finally realized it Quote
PappyTron Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 The machine gun was stupid, but they had written themselves into a corner when they introduced it way back in the beginning of the season. Todd's response to the massacre was awesome though!! Quote

PappyTron Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Todd was awesome. One of my favourite characters along with Mike. 1 Quote
luciusfunk Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Salud is a great episode. You can tell Gus and Mike are proud of Jesse when he's telling the cartel scientists how to do their job and clean the lab. 1 Quote
Powerage5 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Every time I watch Salud, I love it. But the Crawl Space/End Times/Face Off trifecta will always overshadow it in my mind. Quote
luciusfunk Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Definitely. I just finished those three. One thing I'm still not sure of. Jesse shot Tio's grandson, we see a picture of Tio with a young Tuco and young cousins. A son is never mentioned, though. Quote

The Sandman Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Walt gives Hank the wrong tape: I've kept out of this thread for so, so long - having been watching all the way and not wanting any spoilers. Just a superb series! Quote
Powerage5 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Finally started my re-watch. Only doing one episode per day so I can stretch it until 5B is on Blu Ray without a gap. Today I watched Cat's In The Bag. I don't want to say the first season sucked, but it's so...different. It barely feels like the same show. And the handjob scene in the Pilot is awkward as fuck Anyone seen the deleted scenes? The one from the Pilot where Hank shows up to Walt's party is badass Quote
luciusfunk Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I'm watching White House Down and Kenny the Nazi is a terrorist. Quote

downzy Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 This might deserve its own thread, but since it will be awhile before the show sees the air I figured I'd post it in the Breaking Bad thread.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/06/better-call-saul-breaking-bad-prequel-sequel_n_4227087.html?utm_hp_ref=canada&ir=Canada 'Better Call Saul' Could Be A 'Breaking Bad' Prequel & A Sequel"Better Call Saul," the spinoff of "Breaking Bad" starring Bob Odenkirk, may not be a straight prequel as previously announced. Odenkirk told IGN the plans for the new series could feature what Saul Goodman is up to now following the "Breaking Bad" series finale."Well, I've talked to Vince [Gilligan] and Peter [Gould], who are writing and creating the series, about this and I’ve said that a lot of people do want to see what happens to next to Saul," Odenkirk told IGN."So, I don’t know what they’re going to do. I know they’ve talked about prequel, but they’ve also talked to me about sequel, and they’ve also talked to me about a mix of prequel and sequel."When the spinoff news was announced in September, AMC and Sony released a joint statement saying: "AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan's landmark AMC/SPT series 'Breaking Bad.' As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title 'Better Call Saul.'Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.""Breaking Bad" creator Gilligan told The Hollywood Reporter both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul of expressed interest in appearing in the series. "Personally, I'd have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then," he said.Odenkirk said he wants to make sure his new show is different for the viewers."I told Peter and Vince, right away I said, 'Look man, let us make this fresh for everyone.' So that right away, in the first five minutes, every viewer goes, 'Oh, this isn't "Breaking Bad," this is its own thing.’ And I think they feel the same exact way. There might be a cameo here or there, but I don’t know. We’re going to do a new show." Quote
Powerage5 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Hope that comes to fruition - I'd love to see the aftermath of Heisenberg for Saul. Quote

I like the idea of having it be both a prequel and a sequel...and I'm sure Gilligan would handle it ingeniously. Quote
dalsh327 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I'm sure they want to bring some people from "Mr Show" on "Better Call Saul", Brian Posehn and David Cross would be great guest stars. Quote
luciusfunk Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I was reading around on Wikipedia and found The Illuminatus! Trilogy. One of the main characters is named Saul Goodman. Quote

Powerage5 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 On season 2 of my rewatch. In S1, Cancer Man is definitely my least favorite, and Crazy Handful Of Nothing is my favorite. Quote
