Warrant cancels charity gig, but keep money??

Just saw a post on Warrant's Facebook page apologizing to fans for canceling a show. Some of the folks are accusing them of canceling the show, which was for charity, and keeping a some of the money they were paid. I haven't been able to find any info about it online, does anyone know what's going on?

I think everyone collectively went "wha"....."huh".... "you've got to be shitting me" all at once when they saw that. Did they acknowledge Wurzel?

What, Wurzel, that pussy from Warrant?

It's like Twisted Sister somehow got worse.

Actually Twisted Sister are awesome, superb live and they have played great since the comeback. And I'm talking about the energy and sound of the playing. Ok the guys aren't virtuosos tech wise, well maybe except AJ Pero who is an astonishingly under-rated drummer.

Sounds like a clusterfuck, but they should have worked something out and did a show somewhere, somehow, instead of just taking the money and leaving, I don't care if it's on someone's front lawn or in the local city park. It's bad publicity for the band that they obviously can't afford.

Going into show biz 101 trying to sell your side of the story is bullshit. A tragedy happened where people lost their homes and you're bitching about being late on the bills? Can't do drum clinics, Rock Camp, give private lessons, or get a second job if money's tight?

The only times it seems like a concert fundraiser is successful is if you get a bunch of local bands together, live in a major city where you can get some big names to take part in it, and the charities are known and respected, and the band members have had some history with the charities.
