With Slash/Duff Being Work Horses, Do You Think They Asked Axl to Make a New Album?

Recommended Posts

The band can record a whole album in a week. Afd lineup did it. They can do it. If Axl can do it. It's a whole other story no pun intended. I think label/contracts/universal/black frog. All party's in there it's a big hastle to record under the gnr label.

They can do it. But an album doesn't bring in much cash these days.

While performing live can. They should watch n learn ffom Tallica.

Make a gnrtv youtube. Do some backstage and fan interactions. Show band rehearsals. Live streams n shows.

Build the brand up again.

Doesn't mean they can write a new album in a week. (assuming you dont mean rerecord Finck/Bucket material. That should be left alone and released as is)

Agreed, rebuild the brand then release 2 new singles on the release of Greatest Hits if sales are great then go for a new album.

But original GNR spent two years playing in clubs to perfect the AFD songs before they recorded them, a little different now when they haven't shared a room together in 20 years

Well assuming it is the hybrid lineup like it appears to be, it would probably be the easiest thing to have duff re record tommys parts since duff even said himself covering Tommy was fine, and maybe even get rid of a couple of solos and have slash re record them. Hey they tossed away a Brian May solo on catcher and had bumblefoot redo it so, why not toss away a robin/bucket/bumble solo and have slash recreate it. People would probably like the song more anyways with it being slash..

Who knows, maybe this "slash cowrite" fortus mentioned a year ago has been well in the works and could be enough to sneak in other songs from the vault to be released. So ya never know, maybe we'll get cd2 after all. CD already has 50 people on it, what's two more especially with them being beloved alumni the fans have been begging for back (plus Izzy recorded a song or two with nu guns so there's that)

If it's the hybrid obviously slash is open to anything so...
