Ana_1991
Sorry for asking, but why the hell last 3 Gn'R albums have been released on November 23? Chinese Democracy - Nov 23, 2008 Geffen Live Era '87-'93 - Nov 23, 1999 Geffen The Spaghetti Incident? - Nov 23, 1993 Geffen Anyone knows why? Maybe so it's out in time for Christmas to do better sales...

rocknroll41
Pretty sure Live Era's release date being the same as Spaghetti was just a coincidence. the release date chosen for Chinese was definitely no coincidence tho, since they played up the "first studio album in EXACTLY 15 years" thing in what little marketing they did for it. Plus it came out on Sunday instead of the usual Tuesday for album releases.

liers
Because Yoda said so. 2+3=5. 5+11(November)=16. Axl had a good year when he was 16. Not sure if that's true, but I feel like that would be axl's logic.
cooker
It's probably to generate as much sales as possible during the Black Friday to Christmas shopping year. Just a theory it may not be correct.

Ace Nova
Because it's about a month before Christmas, right around Black Friday (biggest shopping day of the year in the U.S) so immediate sales would be just about guaranteed.
