Do they put Sutton or Surrey? Putting: Mr. Snake Pit 123 Sex Drive Thornton Heath Croydon CR7 0AA *for example oppose to what I put which is something along the lines of Mr. Snake Pit 123 Sex Drive Thornton Heath Surrey CR7 0AA just seems anal/weird to me. I know London though, those postcodes are easier in the sense that they don't faff about with mentioning counties... Croydon used to be its own town, part of Surrey, but the entire administrative geography of England got reshuffled in 1965 and all of Croydon became officially part of the Greater London Authority. Stop putting Surrey down as your address. If you don't believe me, Google will helpfully show you where Surrey lies (or really any other source, just look it up). Croydon like anywhere else in the region has had it's fair share of Postcode Wars; you try telling someone from somewhere that CR postcodes are in London I even, when I lived in SW16 or SE25 to my peers in town taking the piss of their CR postcodes saying sh*t like 'Sorry, you're in Surrey' as an annoying youth. It's either Croydon, Surrey having the country's only postal code starting with 0, CR0, and places around town with various CR numbers, I don't really know where the rest of them are really kept, I can hazard a guess, maybe, as to where CR2 is, but, IDK. Not really, if it's not South Croydon or Purley or Coulsdon, IDK, it's a big borough still (though not as big as Bromley, which is the town over but in Kent, like Elmers End, Kent in the London Borough of Bromley), like 3 or 4 miles away, (that way).. but anyway, my point is, Until Croydon becomes a city, it's a town and it has no London postcode so we just put Surrey, okay... And also, The county cricket team (cricket, one televised sport that cares about counties); are pretty much in my stomping ground too, more or less, like right there; so if I'm not in Surrey, neither are they. Given everything, I can run to Middlesex by running to Parliament Square (which I have done) when I ran to Soho from here; I could run to Kent, which again, I have done (which isn't as far from me as Middlesex is to me) when I ran to Elmer's End once through South Norwood Country Park; and I'm in Surrey.
