Favorite 80s Queen album?

What is your favorite 80s Queen album?

Man, Queen. That's a hard one. This band was my favorite band for like forever (now it's GNR). I used to love these '80s albums, mainly because since freddie started smoking, his voice had this iconic "80s gravel".

But these days I can see that musically, and more specifically guitar / drum wise, these arent really great. I love great crunchy hard rock riffs these days and they are few and far between on these albums.

So which one do I prefer? I'd say "the miracle". Has the most "live" sound of all their 80s albums and it's far more coherent than their other 80s efforts.

I went for The Works, but it’s very close between that, The Game, and The Miracle for me.

The Game has lots of my favorite Queen songs. I also love The Works actually.

I thought why there’s no Made in Heaven, then I checked and realized it was released in 1995 😀

Hot Space and The Works are my favorite. Hot Space was a big influence on MJ when he made Thriller.

I prefer their '70s stuff but The Game is my choice.

Impossible to pick just one. I am in between A Kind of Magic and The Miracle. Both my childhood soundtracks.

I was going to say The Miracle until I remembered that The Game is from ‘80. I like all the albums on that list except for Hot Space. Maybe I just haven’t listened to it enough, the songs are killer when they’re live though.

Gonna go with The Game. The Miracle and A Kind of Magic are close second/third, then Hot Space and The Works.

The Miracle is a very underrated album. Over time it has become my favorite of their 80's albums, though I also like The Game, The Works and A Kind of Magic. Hot Space has great songs, it just happens to have the worse Queen song, Body Language.  Every other song was good though.
