Because they keep putting fucking warhorses up against rarely played gems. It's so unfair. 9 times out of 10 the biggest hit wins the song vote. Buenos Aires night 2 setlist: 1. Jumpin' Jack Flash 2. Let's Spend The Night Together 3. It's Only Rock N' Roll 4. Tumbling Dice 5. Out Of Control 6. Angie (Song vote) 7. Paint It Black 8. Can't You Hear Me Knockin' 9. Honky Tonk Women 10. Slipping Away 11. Before They Make Me Run 12. Midnight Rambler 13. Miss You 14. Gimme Shelter 15. Start Me Up 16. Sympathy For The Devil 17. Brown Sugar --- 18. You Can't Always Get What You Want 19. Satisfaction I hate to say this about any set that includes CYHMK, but I think this is the weakest of the tour so far. Song vote could have gone better, LSTNT again (I really never thought I'd complain about this song live, but it's just been getting played too damn much these last few years), JJF is back in the opening slot (Which I absolutely hate). CYHMK is awesome of course, and I guess it's cool that Keef broke out Slipping Away again, but all in all it's just bland.

Daedalus
Random click in this thread, page 13 for example... No Expectations, Let It Bleed, Bitch, It's All Over Now plus "greatest hits". 22 songs in total and with Mick Taylor as a guest. And that was in 2013! So I guess these times are over now.

DieselDaisy
Heartbreaker, being the big Goats Head Soup fan. Bitch and Rocks Off are both masterpieces also however - I would only be disappointed with You Got Me Rocking from that list.
Powerage5
I voted Rocks Off. May have agreed on Heartbreaker, until I saw Rocks Off in Detroit last year. That one absolutely rips live.
Daedalus
Well, they played You Got Me Rocking... 1. Start Me Up 2. It's Only Rock and Roll 3. Tumbling Dice4. Out of Control 5. Beast Of Burden 6. You Got Me Rocking (vote) 7. Paint It Black 8. Honky Tonk Woman 9. You Got The Silver (Keith) 10. Happy (Keith) 11. Midnight Rambler 12. Miss You 13. Gimme Shelter 14. Brown Sugar 15. Sympathy for the Devil 16. Jumping Jack Flash 17. You Can’t Always Get What You Want 18. Satisfaction

Same - I can complain about the sets all I want online, but when I see them it sort of goes out the window. I mean, last year in Columbus I got the most boring Stones set I've ever seen (Even worse than this one) but it didn't matter - I was still seeing one of the best damn bands of all time. DieselDaisy
They are so good when they do dig deeper into their discography, but then, they are playing for a general population whose preference is You Got Me Rocking over Rocks Off, Heartbreaker and Bitch!
axlslash
Apparently someone tried to rob the band's gear trucks last night. One crew member is dead, and the band's security has been upped. The tour will continue as planned. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/rolling_stones_under_24_hour_guard_after_crewmember_shot_dead.html?no_takeover

axlslash
That song vte is a fucking joke. If it's not Let's Spend The Night Together, it's piss break city. Get Off My Cloud is OK, but She's So Cold and Just My Imagination are both just..... ugh. Is there any band with as large a disparity between their best and worst songs than the Stones? How did the band that made Exile also make that 80s disco stuff...?
Powerage5
I love all of the song votes for tonight - She's So Cold is a great rocker live, and Just My Imagination is not only one of my favorite Stones covers, but one of my favorite covers ever. I'd be happy with any of those songs.
DieselDaisy
GOMC and LSTNT are classic singles from their semi-psychedelic Aftermath era. I love them both. I voted Cloud because it is less ubiquitous. I like Just My Imagination. She's so Cold is not one of my favourites but it is alright.
