  1. To my ears, Monsters is definitely Slash on lead. Without doubt. The General on the other hand doesn't sound like him at all. To me. The General, in general, sounds more low quality than Monsters, so I think it might be an older Slash-less demo. Not implying that Monsters is an updated version of The General, because they clearly are different songs.
  2. Obviously I don't know for sure, but to me these sound like demos. The compositions themselves are good, but the mix on both songs is muddy and all over the place. There's no way these are final versions.
  3. Get Duff on it! This ☝️ was uploaded on Duff's Youtube page yesterday. Hysterically ironic timing.
  4. There is no way it won't be streamable. I mean, sure, it might be possible that it's not the official version we will be streaming, but there will be dozens of rips on Youtube.
  5. I think he means the song "Hope", which was on Beautiful Disease (Duff's second solo album, which was never released officially).
  6. Some people are always ready to mock and jab others (always "light-heartedly", of course), but go apeshit, when somebody else does the same to them.
  7. Of course they won't release it digitally. They rather have people rip it and upload it to Youtube and not have any streams on their official channel(s) Oh, but wait... That actual sounds pretty on brand for this band
  8. I just hope that it's a well arranged song. Not that Guns ever had this problem (in my opinion), but some other older bands put out songs that seem to be long just for the sake of them being long. There's plenty to do in 5:00 minutes, you don't necessarily need 7 minutes to be epic. But like I said, lengthy songs by Guns have always been great and the length has been justified.
  9. Some people really overthink (or underthink) this B-side thing
  10. This is not a dig at you, W. Axl Kev, but this comment reminded of an old, old comment someone posted here before Chinese Democracy came out. People were wondering how can the band be so slow and how can it take so long to release an album or something like that and someone responded "these are some of the hardest working men on the planet" and urged others to show respect
  11. That's great to hear! It's understandable that stuff gets lost when sound is recorded with a phone and uploaded on Youtube as is
  12. That falsetto sounds thin and shot, but his low voice sounds REALLY good! Especially on Nightrain And on Absurd, Bad Obsession, Pretty Tied Up etc. When it comes to his baritone, there is still plenty of gas in the tank Axl should use it as much as he can. It sounds great. Vicious, pissed off and powerful.
  13. At this point, I believe more in a new Gn'R album than a new Aerosmith album Both would be dope, though
  14. Definitely. Plus I think rehearsing would make singing new songs more enjoyable for him. I do open mics and small gigs every now and then, and I would be scared shitless if I didn't know my way around the songs and it would be embarrassing to start testing shit while performing. (Granted, I'm not Axl Rose nor do I have the balls of a rockstar.) How can you be so nonchalant when it comes to performing your newest single? And I'm not trying to be negative or shit on him or the band. It's just a shame that they're not quite there where they could be with the song live
  15. Yikes! That live version doesn't do the song justice. Well, the vocals don't. Instrumentally it's fine. It might sound better if Melissa would handle those "hey hey's" on the verses. I don't know. Axl is all over the place and it doesn't sound as good as it could. They need to do some vocal arranging. These new songs would be a perfect opportunity to craft material for his current voice
  16. Yeah, definitely. Although, they are doing well enough just touring, but they should strike when the iron is hot and try to seize this momentum. It would be nice to see as a fan.
  17. I hate those "exaggerated facial expression, slapping my forehead" thumbnails. Funny faces, easy content, short attention spans... This whole global internet culture is infantilizing us all But cool to hear/see that casuals are liking the song
