    I'm not into musicianship at all. I don't have any respect for it. To learn how to read music and understand arpeggios, Dorian modes and all that stuff is just a waste of time. It gets in the way of originality.

      I've never heard anything as ignorant. The most original music ever written was by people with formal musical education.
