  1. I like Deadpool, but I don't know what it could do that the other ones didn't. Comedy sequels are tough. I'll see the third one if reviews are good.
  2. I got lucky with the AC/DC records. I found 2 out of the 3 Hired Gun ones on eBay for like 70 bucks. I think I’m missing Touch too Much The box i can’t believe I scored. Got it just last month. I got that, Roses are Rad (80s boot of the 87 Lost Horizon show), and a boot of the OG AfD with yellow vinyl for 200 bucks. That’s a steal to me!
  3. I am in a lot of bootleg groups on Facebook. Got lucky that someone had the "AXL/DC" box. It is very rare, I have the blue box. It plays a little fast but I will eventually get a turn table with pitch control. Sound and performance are great. It is a better show than the other Axl/DC one I have. Dr. Love was sold to me by our very own @Powerage5 Pretty sure I have the USA release but it sounds fine to me (I have a garbage system, though). When I eventually upgrade maybe I will track down the Euro press
  4. I don't think there is a single announced Marvel or DC project that I am actually excited for, anymore.
  5. Definitely not at the last show I went to. I went to two shows this year. The first was great, the second was not As a diehard fan, I like the long shows because a few surprises in the show are what give it excitement considering I have gotten all the hits 10 times. For the average concert goer, they may be a lot. Either way, the main thing that matters is how Axl sounds. If a shorter show means he would sound better, I would prefer that. If it doesn't matter, then I don't care. Trust me, that show was still awesome. I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl (which was even shorter than Fenway), and it was not even close to the level of the Fenway show
  6. I take it there are quite a few people that are into vinyl on here. Makes sense you would also like GNR on vinyl, then. I got into record collecting in April (worst financial decision, ever), with a focus on live performances from bands I love. Zeppelin is my main focus, but now that I have pretty much gotten everything I wanted from Zep, I am moving on to GNR. Anyone have anything cool or worth checking out? I am really interested in NuGNR and 2016- present (anything I don't have below). If anyone knows of any releases I am missing from those eras, let me know! There does not seem to be much on vinyl. Pretty happy with my classic representation, so far, but am always hunting... 7. My vinyl set arrives Wednesday and I already have buyer’s remorse . I don’t need all the extra stuff (although the big display box looks nice), but I really want the records. I got hardcore into vinyl this year with an emphasis on live shows, so I do really want these. @RussTCB was kind enough to give me the AfD box since he only wanted the records. I never bothered to track those down since I have the super deluxe CD set in the big AfD box and there weren’t any live shows included. The UYI box I’m way more interested in the actual records since I want the Ritz 91 and Vegas 92. I already have a few UYI shows on vinyl, so these are nice to add to the collection. I wish you could just buy them separately with the new artwork, but the band definitely wants you to fork out the $$$. Oh well, at least it was discounted
  8. I’m a late bloomer, I’d say 2006 when I was around 15 I discovered Slash and the band in 2005 but it all clicked when I heard SCoM. The solo did me in. Finally seeing (a version of) the band in 2010 was borderline religious and one of my happiest memories
  9. Dude this killed me. I can relate so hard, I feel like I have to listen to it in secret. My fiancé thinks it’s a terrible song
  10. @Lithium hasn't been around in a while How about @magisme?
  11. This didn’t get discounted on vinyl like afd did. I’m tempted to bite for 350. That’s not bad for this set
  12. I listened to the new live album and the new songs all sound great live Backing vocals in Whole Wide World are really nice
  13. Pretty epic slam- down from @RONIN. I can't fault anything he said in it, even if I like CD and the singles for what they are
  14. Oh yeah, I will pass on the CD but that is pretty cool. You know there will be a big Hackney Diamonds live album and video, eventually
  15. 32. I was 17 when I signed up here, and probably 15-16 when I started lurking. What the fuck- where, did the time go? Arguing about CD and talking about The General in 2008. Arguing about CD and talking about The General in 2023. FUCK
  16. I do have to say, Monsters is the song I've been waiting for since 2008. Great GNR tune, I'd love that on vinyl. Hopefully they do that and a few more leftovers (IF they have vocals) before moving on- Monsters/Oklahoma Zodiac/Seven I am not pining for Atlas, State of Grace, or OMG (lol) as options. I am fine with the demos for those
  17. Oh god, another version? What is on it? Vinyl?
  18. Oh god, another version? What is on it? Vinyl?
  19. This quote pops in my head sometimes I remember when he said that and I thought a wait that long would be impossible
