The other thing nobody talks about is hearing loss and how these help. As someone who’s been wearing hearing aids for nearly 20 years, it always amazed me how so many artists still perform without ear plugs/IEM’s. You’d be surprised just how many of them today are nearly deaf.

It’s easy to understand. 99% of them earn their money from hard work and don’t appreciate others profiting off of they’re hard work by doing absolutely nothing. People don’t go to venues to see the venue. They go to the venue to see the artist. The venue makes money off the artists performing there. Artists have been getting screwed by promoters, producers, managers and ticket agencies since the beginning. There’s nothing wrong with an artist asking for profits from whatever is being sold at the venue due to them being there in the first place. You can blame the promoters for tickets costing in come cases thousands of dollars a seat. They are doing everything they can to exploit popular acts and make as much money off of them as possible. That’s great. Ask him if he would like my Zelle information.

My guess is songs drop for US leg. We get some goodies for the holidays and then the focus will be on a new album with either a tour to support it starting in the fall of next year or in 2025. This the the most likely scenario.

This was always my fav bullshit quote from Del. Always amazed me how much all the hanger on’s sucked Axl’s ass forever. Guns has missed the boat in terms of ever being relevant. The new releases will be met with fanfare but nothing will ever surpass what happened or what could have been. When certain former members of Guns N' Roses quit, like Slash and Duff McKagan, had they had their way that would have sounded the death knell for GN'R. Guns N' Roses was never their original vision. It has always been Axl's vision and drive to try to make the band as successful as possible without compromising the integrity of Guns N' Roses. Fortunately for the fans, Axl has always been able to see outside the box of conventionalism, taking intelligent and calculated risks when it comes to the evolution of Guns N' Roses. This same forward progress is evident on the band's forthcoming album, Chinese Democracy. Some people out there have downloaded unmixed versions of songs like "IRS," "There Was A Time," "Chinese Democracy," "Madagascar," and "Better" and while it's unfair to judge an unfinished product, it's not that big of a stretch to say that Axl's vision is once again leading him in the right direction.

I feel the moment has passed on just about every song at this point. So many wasted years and wasted opportunities. The other thing to take into account is that Axl ain’t to be able to sing those songs live the way they were recorded years ago. They will be nice to finally have but Guns will always be the biggest “what if” band in music.

The songs that I’m most interested in hearing are perhaps, the general, state of grace and a reworked. Oh my God.

It sounds…interesting. He’s trying to figure out what to do with his voice. It’s an interesting approach. But it also bears the question how much longer is he going to be able to try and figure out what to do with his voice because he’s aware it’s not the same anymore.

Says the guy who released 4 albums worth of new material in this day and age with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
