@jimisbatman same here, it occupies my thoughts! Like every day after breakfast during the first cup of coffee I go on here to check for updates... It's unreal, the anticipation is huge!

That's also a main reason indeed, forgot to mention that! Also they were quite late announcing the tour dates and many people already had their tickets for other thins.

@Towelie Maybe in some countries in Europe but not everywhere as in several places they sold out big stadiums. In some like Netherlands they sold way less and had to relocate to a smaller outdoor field which didn't sell out either. But that's probably cuz we are just a small country. I could also see them doing an arena in Belgium if no festival. And in Paris they played the biggest arena in Europe. Sound was amazing! And then maybe some cities in UK could be Arena shows, if they play like 7 shows all over? De goes for Germany I guess.

Like the different and some of the same answers so far, and indeed people read first :p it's About a solo spot on stage. Tokyo 92 is legendary agree on that, watched it over and over on the good old dvd. I just remember that GN'R posted a video of Slash doing a solo on their FB a couple years back, which was also a real good one.

Heya, was wondering what everyone's favorite recording of a slash solo is, in and out of Guns N' Roses. I don't mean a solo in a particular song but as a solo spot in the show! For me it probably is the one from the Stoke in Trent show. It feels to me when listening/watching it as if he takes you to a different world, like a warm safe spot full of joy! Anyone else has such a feeling or a different feeling with the same performance or another one? Share your thoughts!

I.R.S for sure! Tho his highest vocals ever measured I believe? I think Axl would need to choose that to play as an only song on a single occasion with the band. And rehearse 50 times before performing it.

All in all we shouldn't be surprised by this. Axl has always sung in a certain way that nobody else did, basically he invented his own way of singing without proper education or lessons aside from the choir he was in when he was a kid. He sang in the highest intensity for god knows how long. It's very logic to see the results as they are today, as he basically just Injured his vocal chords for years on end. I don't think there are many people who know how to properly help/teach Axl how to sing better or maintain his voice cuz there ain't something like that. I've never heard any vocal specialist explain exactly what Axl does and how he does it, some came close but no. And we are so entitled to this tremendous voice but forget how demanding it is for he who sings it, and that it's also his own torture in some way. Cuz he wants to sing like before but just simply can't and yeah with age catching up, 3 hour shows, long tours... I am glad he wants to give over 100% for the attendees every night.

I just want to share with you fellow suckers for this song on here, that I am beyond excited for The General to come out. Every day since I pre-ordered the Perhaps single there's a moment when the desire to hear it comes through me. It's not normal and I never had this with any song by any band before. If what @Powerage5 said is true, I am in for a long wait as it has to go overseas and god knows how long that will take lol. I once received 2 GN'R leather jackets from the online store for the price of one because after 4 months it was still not here, and they sent me a new one. Then they both came one week in-between.

Why don't you see it happening? Look at what's going on now, 3 previously unreleased songs by now with a 4th coming. Everything indicates that the words spoken by Richard are true. I think they just didn't have a plan before, but do now.

Just snooped around on several chart links on the internet, in Japan they are on #17 in the rock charts. I am curious to see how this song will do this week, and how many views it will get on YouTube. Things are looking good so far. Cool to see!

All I have to say about it is: it's nice and I like it. When hearing the demo some years ago, I already was excited and I'm glad we've got it now. Good result in what the final product came out to be!

The song is not much different from the Demo imo, bit weird work on the beginning of the solo but I don't think it's the final version?? All in all its a good song but it lacks the punch GN'R and Axl are known for, it's not a song to give you goosebumps. I do love how the piano chords and drums align in the song and the lyrics are nice.

It's kinda funny that both Slash and Axl were in the studio to record a song with the same producer for the first time in decades for all we know. For a song on someone else's album🤣 please help me understand

I think it was a good leg, the band looked and sounded good, it's like age is not catching up with them yet. All 3hour plus shows with a very good and entertaining setlist. Love the various changes. I've been to 3 shows with different songs at each show, also witnessed a total of 6 songs for the first time live! Compared to last year, I saw improvement on several aspects. Ticket sales were mixed in each country but overall I think they did good. I do believe they need to comeback with a chunk of new songs and at least one top 10 song in the charts to create more demand. It's best to come back in 2 or 3 years from now
