  1. I'm kind of psyched to hear this record. I must be one of the only one's here who liked Tenderness. The show I saw on that tour was great.
  2. Axl is still hated by the public who hasn't been into Gn'R since the Illusions came out. People still try telling joke's by wondering 'if Axl showed up 5 hours late'. He could go out and perform every song he's ever recorded perfectly and still get shit on. He's nowhere near what Bon Jovi and Neil are at this point. It's really a fucking joke to compare him to Vince. He's certainly not vintage, but people in the building are enjoying it, or else they'd be booked in ballrooms and theaters. Axl will always be the brunt of jokes because of what he once did, no matter what he is at this point. He's a shell of his former self, but its still good enough to put on good shows in stadiums and arenas.
  3. McCready fucking rips. What a treat it would've been to see that!
  4. That's awesome! I was also at the Boston show and had a great time in the rain. I'm really looking forward to these as well. We go out to LA at least every other year to visit my brother in law and have always wanted to see a show at the Bowl, and now get to see two with my favorite band. Which brewery does your Aunt own?
  5. I have every card but American Express, but used my buddy's card that's flying out with me. I just bought $99 tix in the middle sections for both shows.
  6. Was the crew working during the delay or were they done and everyone was just standing around waiting?
  7. Nosebleeds on Seatgeek start at $125, so I'm guessing it'll be around $100 just to get in. Seats in the far back for Kiss the next day are $80.
  8. Flights are cheap to LA. I'm going to make the trip, too. My brother in law lives in Pasadena and we booked trips to see him around the Golden Gods show as well as both Dodger Stadium, Staples and Forum shows. We've toured the Bowl, but haven't seen a show there and have always wanted to. Looking forward to these.
  9. Haha, that's the first thing I thought. Keep your arms down in that vest Uncle Ax.
  10. Gn'R is playing in Sacramento the night Metallica is playing this fest. Unless Hetfield is hanging out all weekend, it's doubtful. I'm sure Lars will be there to watch Gn'R.
  11. If Gn'R could've kept it together, no new popular style or music fad would've hurt them too badly. Grunge blew up in 1992-93 and they were still packing stadiums, arenas and sheds around the world. Bands like Aerosmith and Metallica did very well during the grunge and new metal era. Guns would've been just fine.
  12. We were in Madison last week for our daughter's college visit, and we heard Perhaps twice on the local rock station.
  13. The Sphere on a U2 off date would get me back out to Vegas.
  14. As a big fan of that movie, that litho is fantastic!
  15. No doubt, it's not going anywhere. I was just surprised to actually hear it three times today, once on Carrie Underwood's channel.
  16. I actually heard Perhaps twice on Sirius and once on local radio today...then they play a show and don't play it.
  17. I can't imagine Better was a good choice with the shape of his voice at this point, but it is pretty impressive that they're 25 songs in after an illness severe enough to postpone a stadium show 4 days ago.
