  1. Don't make assumptions! I like AC/DC and will be seeing them if as rumored they tour and visit MetLife Stadium.
  2. They can't be what they were in the 80s. They matured since then. I've matured as well. I want to hear something more than just sex and drinking.
  3. It'll probably be settled out of court like the Puffy case. I think this type of case hurts Sean Combs more than GNR since Sean Combs was directly involved. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cassie-ventura-sean-diddy-combs-settlement-lawsuit-alleging-abuse-rape/
  4. In the U.S., oral agreements can be viewed as a contract. If she signed written contracts that had previous stipulations and both parties agreed to them again via a conversation then it can be upheld in court. In my opinion, both parties should have worked on a new contract rather than based on assumptions.
  5. You'll see comments on page 3 in this thread stating no album release. That's what I'm referring to.
  6. I'm not buying the copyright infringement by Kat. I would be shocked if GNR didn't present documents to her regarding her photographs. I think that GNR is correct with that aspect. Regarding the sexual harassment, I think that needs further investigation. I'm going to withhold further judgment on this until there are more facts. I don't think those facts nor evidence will be displayed for public consumption, though. In all likelihood, the suit by GNR and countersuit by Kat will be settled privately. For those that are saying this is the end of GNR just relax!!! That thinking is hyperbole. Most cases are settled out of court, which I think this will happen with this case.
  7. I strongly believe you are overthinking things. If money was the sole reason for them to reunite, it would have happened sooner. If I remember correctly, Slash stated that they would reunite for the right reasons. This was before 2015.
  8. It wasn't back to back nights. They gave Hetfield a break between the two dates. They also spread the tour dates, which will go into 2024. I think the 2023-2024 tour dates are limited as well. Someone else had stated that what may also work is to do one month on the east coast. Take another month off and then the third month tour the west coast. I do think somethings will change. I think they'll do more arenas during the next tour. They haven't played at Madison Square Garden nor the Prudential Center in six years. I'm also expecting them to cut it down to 2-2.5 hours a set. I think the 3+ hours will be gone. Lastly, some people are talking about retirement. I saw Iron Maiden for the first time last year. Bruce Dickinson is 65 years old. He'll be 66 when Iron Maiden goes back on tour next year. He still has some voice left. I really think it's too son for people to talk about retirement for Axl, Slash, and Duff.
  9. From the above which has a link to https://m.facebook.com/profile.php/?id=100033242653073, it looks like possibly end of 2024.
  10. I didn't think so. The guy must be full of crap. He provided no source. He only made a comment. Stupid trolls.
  11. Btw, does anyone know if Duff stated that GNR will be away for 5 years? I just had someone respond to my Facebook post on the GNR page that stated that this was not a vacation and that Duff stated that GNR will be gone for 5 years.
  12. I really don't get the mentality that GNR is over. There are positive vibes coming from the band. Yet, some people here are thinking and insisting that this is the end. I'll probably won't be checking this website as often as I did during the last 7 years while GNR is on break. When I'm fully recovered from the broken foot, I have other things that I need to get done. I have also made myself a promise. No matter what happens with my parents when GNR comes back, I'm going to see the next GNR tour. If something happens to one of them when GNR is in the NJ/NYC area then I'll travel to see them.
  13. I believe you are incorrect with Metallica. I saw them at MetLife this summer. What they did was they broke it up into 2 nights rather than one concert. Each night was 2 hours. They played a total of 32 songs for 4 hours that had a different setlist. They gave Hetfield a break between the shows. They played Friday and Sunday then gave Hatfield Saturday to recuperate. I think this could be a good approach for GNR to give Axl a break in between the shows when they go back on tour.
  14. Where did you hear about a new album after this tour? It was very clear that Myles was uncertain about the future of SMKC in the interview that he gave.
  15. I agree with you! Someone mentioned that Slash told Eddie Trunk off the record that he was very happy with this tour. I think there's more to come. If anything, I think SMKC ends after April. Myles definitely seemed unsure that it'll continue.
  16. I doubt that he'll ever go outside the GNR name. He had the opportunity to do so and didn't. It's too late. I'll always think that it was the wrong business decision for him to be a solo act under the GNR name. The GNR name could have been put in hiatus and would have freed him to do whatever he wanted with music. That's water under the bridge now.
  17. Well Axl kinda did went solo with Chinese Democracy, though.
  18. I hope that the next time they tour, I'll be able to see them and that NOTHING comes in the way like it did this year. I think there will be new songs written by the current version of GNR. Everything is happening according to what Slash has said even though it's taking time.
  19. I'm surprised that this was played live. I thought it was very good!
  20. I totally agree! I don't get why people like this are on here. You don't like the band and performances then simply don't go.
  21. I really wonder if the subject matter of the song is why Axl delayed it for a long time. I would imagine that it would be extremely hard on Axl to release this song since it is very vulnerable and personal.
  22. I like Monsters better than the General. I think eventually The General will grow on me. Monsters is good!
  23. It's coming from Duff. I trust him. Look Slash said things that got delayed but were true. With a new album then there will be a new tour.
  24. I fall into the latter. I know there are shortcomings for both Axl and Brian Johnson due to age. Still, I know that there will be a time that GNR, Metallica, Bon Jovi, and AC/DC will not perform because of age, health, or not being with us any longer. You never know what can happen in their and your lives. I didn't think I would break my foot 3 days before the GNR show at MetLife. It happened. I was disappointed that it happened. Hopefully, I get to see GNR one more time before they retire or something happens to them.
