The only complaint I have is the terrible transition in the solo from Robin to Slash. Amateurish. Otherwise, from what I can hear, the rest of the song sounds great.

I'm amazed no one is talking about it on GN'R Reddit, yet.
They were, but r/GunsNRoses bans leaks, and I believe they even had an employee of the band management/label as a moderator at one stage (not sure if that's true or if they are still on the mod team).

Thread title updated, Perhaps we'll get it before Friday now
Surely the best course of action now that the song has 'leaked' is for the band to just release it.

How do you people find it? I need it in my veins!

I just played it at the Rainbow and I’m not even there. World Premiere right after someone played Rocket Queen. It says it’s on now LOL

Has anyone seen this reddit post.
I know the last one was bogus, so this should be taken with a huge grain of salt. The only thing that made me pause is that someone in the comments pointed out that the artwork seems to be original (no pre-existing images of it online). So if that's true (I did not check myself) it's either officially made.... or it's a troll who spent a lot of time making it themselves.
Both possibilities are bizarre enough to keep me entertained lol
The picture and the user's comment are taken straight from a 4chan post that didn't take off:

I won’t give this video any click, but that was a half-assed prank that nobody really fell for.
Even the snapshots of Reddit and Twitter they showed weren't of people really convinced by it, lol.

Okay searching for Perhaps on Spotify in Germany now shows Guns N Roses as top artist. I know for a fact that yesterday when I did that it definitely did NOT do that, it didn't bring up GNR at all. Maybe we're in luck and it will actually drop tonight after or during the show. But it's got to be coming soon now.
Guns N' Roses shows up as the top result for me when searching 'Perhaps', and the top artist when searching 'The General' and 'Atlas Shrugged', but not for anything else I have tried. I don't put much stock in the Spotify stuff, but just thought I would mention it.

Yeah, they've made the Perhpas url as if it's a track from an album.
Yeah. The alleged The General link also lacks a hyphen separating 'The' and 'General', whereas HardSkool does have a hyphen.

I'm going to call BS on the Apple link. Someone else has claimed on Reddit that there is a The General link on Apple Music, and has referenced some dark web forum as the source... Also, comparing the alleged Apple Music URLs for Perhaps and The General to those of HS and Absurd shows that the former lack 'single' in the address where it is present for the latter.

In any case, we can probably kiss our days of guessing upcoming releases through Linkfire goodbye. There is no way in hell they will be this lax on future releases.

Perhaps this is just some 5-d marketing tied in thematically with the song and 8-ball. Maybe they are intentionally amping people up with unclear information about a release date...

As someone that has worked in marketing and promotion on the radio side over the years: everything is internal until you want it to be released. It’s marketing 101.
Someone authorized that link fire page to go live. That was NOT an accident.
I agree it went live on Linkfire with prior authorisation, but we do know the redirected page itself was a draft as it was listed as a preview in the html coding and the pre-save functions were not working. That is the mistake I am referring to. Someone may have authorised the Linkfire page to go live, but some idiot redirected it to an incomplete page.

It's not excuse, it's fact. The page wasn't POSTED. It got leaked. And it didn't get post probably because the band didn't approve it, for whatever reason.
What @The Real McCoy is saying is that the marketers would not redirect the Perhaps Linkfire URL to the Perhaps promotion page detailing a release date without permission. This is most likely true, but for whatever reason, the marketing department thought it would be a good idea to redirect a live link to a draft page instead of a final page. This was obviously a big mistake on their part as they weren't expecting people to find it so quickly (which is something they should have anticipated as a possibility given that Hard Skool was found similarly early).

okay, let me say something
am I disappointed? A lot, it's ridiculous how hard is it to release something new. But there was nothing officialy scheduled, so we can't say "plans changed".We can say plans changed. Clearly Perhaps was intended for the 11th given the video that was temporarily available via the Linkfire page. Was it officially announced? No, but the marketers were stupid enough to upload a preview campaign on a live link and that tells us all we need to know about the initial plans.

How hard is it to release one song, especially when Perhaps on the 11th received more press coverage than their previous releases? The band and those managing the release/distribution are a joke.

Im in aus too. We'll know in 5 hours, since NZ will have it an hour earlier than us. However, I'm thinking it was delayed until next friday.
I'm thinking the same now too. If they were still intending on a pre-save campaign, then it clearly won't be coming tomorrow (especially with the short countdown in our timezones). It is possible they have dropped the pre-save campaign for a surprise release, but i wouldn't bet on it being the more likely option at this time.

Axl has control, but consider the dynamics when he calls Beta his mother.

I think Beta doesnt really deserve the hatred. Axl wanted a mother figure and a proper family and she was able to do that for him. She seems like a genuinely caring person, going by that interview she gave back in 2001. Any issues with Axl not releasing music is surely on him.
Her family literally manages the band...

The reactions on this thread are pathetic. There is no delay because nothing was ever officially scheduled. This is all desperate speculation based on circular logic, with nothing ever announced officially from the band. This is exactly the reason they practice a media blackout. I’m anxiously awaiting new music too, but damn, stop acting like someone’s fever dreams are inside info.
Internal delays do exist...
