  1. Pretty sure Axl doesn't want to sit behind a piano during the show except for November Rain which is his magnum opus. He has two other keyboard players in the band for a reason
  2. Lol because it's so easy. Just take a riff from the 27 years ago and turn it into a song that will appeal to the masses. Ok lol
  3. Merch truck is the same cost as the shirts at the concert
  4. What we really need is a GN'f'nR's 8 Ball jacket!!
  5. Kinda a bummer tho too. I had a long drive today and just put GNR on shuffle and so many CD songs fit so well in that catalogue. Hearing Madagascar in Hershey was one of the highlights of the show for me
  6. After knowing Axl for so long I would assume they are just happy to see their friend releasing songs that are meaningful to him On the flip side of your question Axl could have put these all in the vault and left them to die. If they have any attachments to these songs at all I'm sure they are just happy to have them see the light of day. Even if it might be a little bittersweet.
  7. Thanks for the upload. Gave you a like! I wonder if Axl would benefit to Melissa doing the Hey Hey parts. Axl was pretty decent for the first time tho. He nails the "Perhaps I was wrong" parts.
  8. The live version of Pittsburgh sounded pretty good! Axl has a little bit of work to do but Slash sounded great on the solo. I was out all day so I haven't gotten to see all the reactions but it seems fairly positive? The song sounds great and is a welcome addition to the catalogue. Bring on the fucking General!
  9. Yeah. And then Frank replaced Brain. Also pitman was there like a douche lol It's a shame we never got that lineup tho. I think it would have been pretty special.
  10. Word. I mean this is the b-side to Perhaps. So clearly the band thought more of Perhaps to lead with it. Doesn't mean the General isn't going to be great. And I hope people are excited for it. I just wouldn't expect Estranged or November Rain hahaha
  11. Tommy was easily my favorite of NuGuns. Just the perfect fit for the band. Robin too. I always think Robin, Richard, Brain, Tommy and Axl would have been such a great band. Throw Dizzy on keys. That's just a really cool and talented band right there
  12. Perhaps isn't going to sell tickets. Most of the casual audience isn't interested in new music from GnR. There was a dude at the concert the other night who didn't realize they played SCOM. Guns have a huge audience and people are going to go to the shows and have a good time whether they release these tracks or not
  13. It's such an old demo at this point that they consider it a classic 🤣🤣🤣
  14. I'm in Pennsylvania. That is just a rip of the song someone took from last night. Not a demo. And lots of songs go to radio before streaming services. That's not uncommon
  15. ?? Even if the demo is the first result Guns n Roses doesn't control Google. It's just an algorithm
  16. Yeah agreed. Duff really stood out and I thought he sounded awesome. Really great bass line
  17. I think that was just the quality of the song. Wish You Were Here and Soul To Squeeze sounded crystal clear. I just think this song doesn't have that same quality
  18. Maybe that's why Axl and Slash were in the studio 🤣🤣🤣 (I'm jk btw)
  19. Someone mentioned earlier that Ozzy's Boneyard on SiriusXM said they would be playing tomorrow!
  20. I am deaf in my left ear so I hear everything in mono now lol
  21. Yeah the solo is quite fine. Not sure what everyone was up in arms about
  22. Why start fresh when we can bump 20 year old threads and slap a Slash solo on that shit 😉
