I know we are here to talk about music and the more serious stuiff and this is tabloid stuff which nomally I would steer clear of but, sometimes, as in this instance, it can arouse and grab you when you least expect it.   A bit like those British saucy postcards of the sixties

nothing much was happening that year except the tour, a 12 night Las Vegas residency and there was a flying piano present as well. They've also filmed what would become the "Appetite For Democracy" 3d live concert from the tenth night of the residency which was later released in May 29, 2014.

What was happening with GnR  around 2012? Who else was in the band at this time?  What was Axl looking like and how was his voice?

This is like some kind of  dark twisted tale that has stopped us asking abouut new music, which I feel may not exist with the 'damaged'  state Axl seems to be in.   Who knows, as I stated before I just hope he his happy.   No more for me on this subject as I am starting to pry and this makes me uncomfortable.

Wow she is pretty, women are obviously still finding him attractive..   If that was Beta scaring her away then that is just too weird to comprehend, is Axl under her infuluence, unless  she was right. Oh well his life,I hope he is happy.

Again because you have no basis for your claim.

All of those are valid comments. None assert the political leaning of the person commenting. Sure, we can assume but again that's just speculation. 

The idea that people cannot take issue with celebrities trying to muscle their way onto the political stage without being directly opposed to whatever party they endorse is just weird.

Taking sides is fine but directly telling fans how to vote is unethical imo. This will ofc vary for everyone.

Help...he is NOT telling anybody how to vote but simply expressing a view about a situation he is worried about.  Also he he is not specifically speaking to fans.   So no problem there.

I am at a loss to understand why this is such a big deal.  Axl makes some political remark (not asking anybody to believe or disbelieve) you can choose to leave it there, mull it over or ignore it...end of.

I dont think Axl will look any different, just a year older and, reading posts here over the years, I dont think there will be any new music.

I follow politicians to hear about politics and I follow Axl to hear about music. In the same way I wouldn't want to listen to an album dropped by Donald Trump I don't want to hear Axl weigh in with his political leanings.

Detest when artists tell people how they should vote. However don't really have an issue with them giving their opinions and telling people to vote.

Now so far GNR and it's members seem to have been pretty ok with not trying to steer peoples views. But I'm worried that'll change come November.

Remember when GNR had the pinata of Trump? To me that's just gross and not acceptable from people that then want a platform for political discourse. They're pundits when it suits them and entertainers when it suits them.

I'm no fan of fur but think attacking anyone is just gross.

I'm sure a lot of people here have an issue with fur but will happily wear leather or clothing that uses glue derived from animals.

There are also many that would NOT wear leather ect for the for similar reasons...

Totally agree.  I WOULD throw that tin of paint.  An early photo of Axl looks as though he is wearing a fur coat, it would have looked much better on the animal, he looked ridiculous and I was offended on behalf on the animal.  

Looks as though we are not getting any material this week, I know it was only a little but I was looking forward to it...silly me I suppose

Just listened to above.  Please tell me this is a one off, if not then I just feel sad and frustrated.  Why does Axl carry on if he has lost it or maybe he just doesnt care.  Such a different attitude to the young Axl who, I am sure, would hate this voice.  Sad.

I started a thread in Jungle called 'The Story of the White G string...  I have come across video of Axl running around in a white g string while everybody else is running around dressed, does anybody know what was happening?
