I think Axl has a brain which produces chaos and uncertainty...pretty torturous state, hence the stop and start of GnR productivity.

I am not sure Axl has the type of hair that would grow long anymore...must be emotionally painful for him.  (The unatural black beard looks awful)

You may very well be right.  I would not be at all surprised if Axl was to retire from the band sooner rather then  later and maybe have a go at writing film scores as he has mentioned this before, relax and look after his health.

I am just watching Guns Argentina 93, their last concert together, and the energy is crazy, the audience are crazy...but they never played again and nobody saw or heard from Axl for years afterwards!  I was not around then so for anybody who was, what was it like, what were your feelings etc

Agree with Sydney Fan  especially wondering whether the band regretted not finishing the tour sooner if it isnt for money.

Also by the time it comes out most people will already have read it free!

Have just watched Home and Social axs tv on youtube, guest being Matt.  He said his book has been put back to end of year or early next year as with the virus he cannot travel at the moment.

Axl does not see Fernando as a 'wanker' as he is family, indeed it probably makes him mad when he hears people name calling  which I would too if it were happening to one of my family.

I dont agree that this 'band has gone to shit'.  This thread has got a little absurd (not everrybody).  I am disappointed that Fernando has not carried out his offer of downloading some vids and using the worlds problems to defend this, just atrocious of him.  But all the other negativiity just creates bad feeling instead of enjoying what GnR have done.  Just a thought.

I really dont want to be mean but I dont know what this thread is about, who cares about age....as I said earlier she is a fabulous musician, looks really edgy and, I think anyway, fits the GnR of today.

A seven year old girl...it sounds as though she was having 'problems' at home.

Unless it is Axl pulling the strings and he has no say...who knows, but all this procrastination is exhausting.  

Does he have an awareness of the effect of his actions I wonder.

I have not  read the book but two seven year olds...isnt this just kids playing about?

Sometimes I really wish these forums were divided into pre-1996ish GN'R and after sub-forums. It might make things a bit easier. But I digress.

Anyway, better get used to the vitriol. Roughly 80% of the threads and comments contained within tend to be of the complaining type.

Such as:

• <insert name here> isn't in the current band, but should be.
• I want new music!
• The entire band plays <insert song title here> wrong.
• <insert name here> plays <insert song title here> wrong.
• The setlist should include <insert song title here>.
• The setlist should NOT include <insert song title here>.
• <insert name here> is a better <insert band position name here> than <insert name here>.
• Stop touring!!!
• I HATE team brasil !!!
• GN'R merchandise sucks and is overpriced.
• Where's my new music???
• Stop removing YouTube content !!!
• Release ALL archived content.

I would imagine there are folk who would expect and enjoy reading about the more salubrious side of rock n roll, it is kind of expected...its a lifestlye that many fantasise about while they go about their daily routines...and what publishers would expect.

Over three weeks and nothing more...what a damned disappointment, Fernando seeemed so sincere.

As a Brit on the many occasions I exclaim 'Oh no darling' I dont really mean 'Fuck you', especially in my 'posh' voice.   Seriously I do get that being thrown into the mayem, fame and ccnstant girl adoration etc must stroke the ego of the most together bloke never mind the insecure which I think Matt is.   Then to be thrown out....not ever been part of this crazy world I cannot judge him although I see his neediness in the above section of his book.  

He seems to talk about quite a few folk in the book which makes me think it may not be anybody from GnR that has stopped it, who knows...

I thought it was a joke initially...WOW!
