I like the song, I personally don't find it mediocre but like pretty much everyone else I think the effects are a bit much

I'm skeptical about no other family member's knowing as well, but I do think this person is being honest about knowing them, especially with the pictures they posted. Maybe they meant it in the way of that is how things were done back then and it was not considered abuse? Idk I'm probably wrong on that, but going off the pic in Yesterdays of Axl with the black eye, I highly doubt it was the only one he ever got. You can explain one away, but not multiple, and people had to see that. Which that's just me speculating, maybe they really didn't know

I like Gilby, he seems like a cool dude and I enjoy his music, I hope the people who go to the show have a good time. But after reading all the history about his separation from the band, is there any member who did not get sucked into drama of some sort or another gnr is a drama queen making machine

He had a sweet little smile, sorry I'm being a downer but it just makes me sad to know what he was going through at that time, my heart hurts for any kid going through something like that

That was a really interesting read, that person seems legit too. They mentioned stuff I have never heard about, it just makes his home life seem even sadder now, especially about how hard he tried to get his parents to come see him play when he was trying to work it out. Also I can't imagine Axl building a shelf in a shop class lol, I'm not sure if you all scrolled that far down in their post but I'm dying to see it now

To be fair did they ever say that Perhaps and The General would be on vinyl only? If they did I missed it. But I do agree the pricing, especially on the box sets, are way too high but I seem to keep spending my money on them

Most definitely! I enjoyed the drama he spilled about the band, the stuff about Slash and Duff specifically I was surprised to read. I thought he would tear into Axl real good but he seemed to be more understanding of his anxiety and had his back more than I thought. So I was was enjoying it for what it was, and then he starts talking about the maybe, possibly trafficked women and I was like nope no thank you. I see why the publisher wanted it edited

When I was first hearing and reading about this story that is exactly what I thought. I thought she was in her very early 20's and my gut reaction was that's just a baby and I was already picturing how vulnerable and naive someone that young would be around a huge rockstar. But that can now be chalked up to a lie, with everything that is coming out about her I'd double check for myself if she told me the sky was blue lol

Oh wow, that's a really good catch. I just assumed she was much younger than Axl, I had no idea she was the same age. Not that it makes a difference if what happened to her did, but why lie about your age? Unless it is to make herself look more innocent and suspectable to something like that happening

I guess you haven't seen my other posts about this, I am not entirely sure this happened at all. Her story has too many inconsistencies and holes that I don't think it happened the way she said it did. I listened to what was being said, and I did it without immediately calling the accuser a liar. We can do it both ways, and yeah based on Axl's history with women who would automatically believe him? I'm a huge fan, but he has only himself to blame for that.

And I can absolutely totally see that, but it still does not account for what she claimed was said was not. I don't know, maybe I am taking this very personally as a survivor of assault myself and just need to take a step back from all this. When things don't add up I do begin to side eye what is being said, and I can't help but feel its very suspicious with the timing of her book (right when the band was big in headlines again for one of the biggest reunions in rock history) and then files it 34 years later right when that Act is about to expire, that just does not sit right with me. I am not saying she is lying at all, but I'm also not saying she is telling the complete truth either imo

I'm not trying to grasp at straws, I am just trying to look at this from the point of view that a jury would. Even if something happened thirty plus years ago, if your accusing someone of something as horrible as rape you better have your facts straight. My issue with this interview is if this is even the one she is mentioning, he never mentions a PentHouse Pet or anything else she said he did. And she made it a point to say that he was gone for a sitdown interview in studio that never happened, and he was gone when she left. She said she went back to the hotel to grab a belt she left, and he was still gone and she heard the interview later. That just does not add up. I understand misremembering things, but again if you want to take something to court you have to have your factual evidence to back it up

I am curious if Riki was going to say anything other than that vague Facebook post too. She is accusing him of watching and listening to a rape happen while he did nothing, I assume he would want his side of it told as well. Again, there is so much going on here I am having a hard time understanding who is telling the truth or not. A lot of people are saying that the impromptu phone interview with Stern is the interview she was talking about, but none of it matches what she said. Axl was in his hotel still asleep when that one happened, but she said she woke up alone and Axl was gone to visit Stern in studio. Does anyone have any more information about that, if she was saying that is the interview she meant? Or are people just saying that on her behalf? Because if that is what she said, it completely messes up her timeline. I'm not trying to poke holes into everything she said, I'm just trying to understand. I know Axl's lawyer was a PR answer only, I don't believe he never met her, maybe he truly does not remember what happened, but I don't believe they never hooked up or whatever

Totally agree his track record with women back in the day is not good at all, if this story had come from Erin I would believe it in a heartbeat. But there is so many contradictions in Sheila's story I'm beginning to wonder if it happened at all, of course I would change my mind if she has any actual evidence, but for now I'm leaning towards Axl's side on this one. And to be fair to Axl, Adrianna was not exactly Steven's girlfriend, she was a woman they all screwed around with. She liked to bounce between Steven, Slash and Axl. And she slept with Axl to get back at Steven for sleeping with a friend of hers, it's not like she was exactly seduced into doing it or stolen from her boyfriend, and that was completely consensual.

I found that odd too, not knowing the frontman for the biggest band in the world at the time. Like I personally could not name one Taylor Swift song, but I would recognize her on sight just because of how popular she is, so I do have a hard time believing that.

What makes me think she was mentioning the Adderall as being used as an antipsychotic was this quote from it "which is jus a hair different from being a person on ant-psychotic meds." I may be interpreting it wrong, but to me that comes across as insinuation it was being used to treat mental illness when it was not approved for that at the time. Her accounts have also changed, here she says it was laid out on a towel with coke and other drugs, but in another one she says there were several medication bottles that were prescribed under his name as well that she left off here, she mentioned Lithium as well as he Adderall. I don't know, that just comes across as fishy to me
