Empire Records is good mindless fun.Sort of like "Go". Not the greatest movie ever, but for some reason, I can watch it 2-3 times a year. As a brilliant student, he quickly becomes the professor's protege. But when he develops a conflicting theory on dark matter, the professor's jealousy pays the price in the students rage against the school politics, ultimately leading to dark matters.I thought it was a good movie, Meryl Streep is one of my favorite actresses.
