Awesome guy

Made rock music the music for whiners (Post-Grunge, Emo, etc) and left his baby daughter in the care of a psychotic bitch. Great guy, great father.

Wasn't this the guy who sang he had a father but he never had a dad? Guess he made sure his little girl would experience the same.

Please leave.

A tragic loss for music and for his family.

Thank you highvoltage. People need to have some respect.

People often debate over his talent.

At the end of the day, he provided EXACTLY what the rock scene needed at that time.

Yes there is a chance that had he still been alive today he would just be another 90's throw back. But he's not, so let's celebrate his achievements.

Remember, he changed the face of rock music and the whole industry all before hitting 30. That's more than you did.

RIP Kurt.

I was almost sure he died on the 8th

nobody knows when he died

I still doubt he commited suicide.

same here, it just seems impossible if you know the FACTS

however i don't want to ruin this thread with conspiracy theories, RIP kurt, i can only imagine how you would have changed music

I have a friend, that will give you two fuckin' hours of information talking you to death, ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that "that pig" (his words) Courtney Love murdered him. The dude will go on a tirade if you even bring it up.

I still think people that think "murder", are the same ones out there waiting for Jimmy Hoffa & Elvis to re-emerge.

I respect the dead, and say R.I.P. Kurt.

But for talent, the guy IMO was just another peanut in the peanut jar.

"Rape Me" ?

Songwriter?

OK guys, get out those "classic" Nirvana CDs, and enjoy.

Oh so I guess this is a lyrical masterpiece?

Number one bad boy

who's to blame

Number one bad boy

Ain't that a shame

Yeah, right

I guess you can't handle the seriousness of songs like "Rape Me".

Rape Me is probably my favourite Nirvana song, or it's at least the one I listen to most.

RIP.

NO way, Heart Shaped Fucking Box all the way.

Note: this is much more interesting than saying Heart-Shaped Box is better than Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

Drain You > *

I can handle it just fine, it was just MO. Some people act like this guy

was another John Lennon or something. He was a good songwriter who had

a good band........along with 1 million others who had/have the same, too.

BTW, listening to Poison now? "Look What The Cat Dragged In" is the perfect

album while out "cruising"........DUDE! B)

Hard not to appreciate what Nirvana did, even 14 years later

Was in college during the Grunge Explosion

I remember loving Alice in Chains the best, then Nirvana, then Pearl Jam, then Soundgarden - pretty amazing time for music , if you ask me

Never quite appreciated Cobain telling me that because I was a Gnr fan, I shouldn't be going to Nirvana concerts or listening to Nirvana, but that aside

I was a fan
