justmike66 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Why are you here then? If you think the band members are lying to you, they are not lying , just telling truths that rarely come to fruition .
Lose Your Illusions Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) Wat ? Ah, more lies!Business as usual. EDIT: oh u were being serious...still Edited April 26, 2011 by Lose Your Illusions
STARABOSTES Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Wat ? Ah, more lies!Business as usual. Why are you here then? If you think the band members are lying to you, if you hate what Axl has done to the GnR name (which he owns, by the way).......then why do you come to this forum?I don't understand why people that hate Axl or the new band would spend one second of their lives going to a forum to bash them. Why would you want to spend your time doing that? Life is too short to spend time mired in negativity. So many great bands out there you could be supporting!!!!yeap, but than again there is nay band out there that so many love to hate!the power of the dark side of attraction... I guess.Well man, these people have a mind disorder, that's for shore.it's cool to see you trying to get some of them well,it's a long process and it won't get you anywhere.in stead of doing that/this why not just chat with us,with people who like GNR as it is.u know!? ignorance could work better, better!ha!peace man!it's cool to keep up the good fightbut let's fight is the good wayand just ignore the fuckersand praise the others!
AxlIsGod. Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Looking at Axl and Dj's onstage chemistry, maybe its just them two working on stuff? Maybe Ashba inspires axl to get off his ass and do something? now THAT would be something.
Mindray08 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) I think he mispoke. What me meant to say was, ""We're working on new LAWSUITS for Guns n' Roses everyday"i think you misheard what he said. he said "sonofabitch' sucks." Edited April 26, 2011 by Mindray08

dalsh327 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Nikki said he's rehearsing with Crue for the 30th, so I guess no live Sixx:AM shows. All the members of GNR don't have to be in the same room to work on the next batch of songs.
feconroses Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I'm a slashlite but I can't understand why people are making negative comments related to this video. Definitely this is GOOD news!

batman007 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Some news is better than no news. I am hopeful!
Apollo Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I'm a slashlite but I can't understand why people are making negative comments related to this video. Definitely this is GOOD news!Axl could release a 100-song box set tomorrow, cure cancer, donate 25 million to charity, and say that Slash is the greatest guitar player ever.......and 5-6 people on this forum would still be on here bashing him.

W. Axl Kev Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I wanna see what Axl and a true bluesy rock n' roll guitarist like DJ can do together. I was gonna get a tattoo done in LA by DJ's tattoo artist but I got steamin' and missed my appointment. Gutted.

Cdlove Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I'll give Bumble a few days before he says "Jamming doesnt really count, an album of new material will still take a while."
SmellThePoppies Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Awesome. Nice to see someone take INITIATIVE (If he's recording GNR songs by himself)
axl_on_drums Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Awesome. Nice to see someone take INITIATIVE (If he's recording GNR songs by himself)LMAO, Wouldn't that be great if DJ means he's in a studio by himself writing GNR songs all aloneReally nothing wrong with that, at least he's working.
gunsguy Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 (edited) Hard to speculate however DJ did spend alot of time by Axl's side during the last tour. Perhaps some ideas were exchanged Edited April 26, 2011 by gunsguy
Nick85 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Wonder if he's been in the studio adding solos & guitar work like Ron did in 2007 for the next album. Ron's work might be finished already since he stated that he recorded on a "good hanful" of tracks that did not appear on the first album. Some clarification, as always, sure would be awesome.
FuddMckagan Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Not to be negative, but hasn't he said something along these lines before? For all we know they've got 5 albums worth of material, but that doesn't mean it's coming out any time soon.
jonah Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 he says working on new songs not writing so maybe he is learning some tunes they haven't played yet for the next tour
PerthGNR Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 She's got an inch of make up on, only an eighth less than dj
31illusions Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Work on them songs all you want Ashba, It'll still be 10 years and 2 replacements later that we'll get to hear them anyway.SNAFU!!!!
