Chewbacca
The Path Of Totality (KoRn's new album) just caught my attention. Chaos Lives In Everything is such a good tune.

I just looked on a song meanings site and there are interpretations all over the place. It seems The Sound of Muzak is the only song on In Absentia that is easier to interpret. Zeppelin
This is what I've been seeing... there are interpretations all over the place. You've just answered your own question...I guess so lol. I was hoping there was one concrete meaning that I just hadn't heard yet. But I guess that's the beauty of that song. Some say it's autobiographical for Steven Wilson. Others say it's about lost love/relationships. I've seen others about it actually being about a plane crash and that's what the "60 ton angel falls to the Earth" is referring to, with trains being a separate metaphor for some kind of memory. It's interesting reading some of the interpretations, though. RandallFlagg
I haven't listened to that PT album yet but am looking forward to it, i'm on Fear of A Blank Planet and The Sky Moves Sideways right now.

In Absentia is more like Fear of A Blank Planet. Less spacey and more metal influences. Great songwriting all around, though.
RandallFlagg
Definitely insanely different but that's the strength of Wilson's songwriting, I think I've heard Blackest Eyes from that one, I look forward to it whenever I get done with these two

The drummer they had for their early albums is fantastic but Gavin Harrison is just on another playing level IMO
Zeppelin
Gavin Harrison is a beast on the drums. His drumming on the more current PT albums is fantastic.

Dazey
Finally got around to listening to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and I fucking love it! Nothing new but reminds me of what I used to love about Noel all those years ago when I was a big Oasis fan!
