Nulla Lex Ink. Posted March 29, 2014 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Mine is a combination of two band name ideas I had, Nulla Lex and Dead Ink. Then both of those became songs, and Nulla Lex became the name of a recurring location in the stories I write, so I combined the two because Nulla Lex is taken by some other indie band (as "Lex Nulla," but still, wouldn't want people to confuse the two) and Dead Ink only sounds neat if you have some context to the name. At first it was "Dead Nulla Lex Ink", then "Nulla Lex Dead Ink", but I realized the name was way too clunky, so I dropped the word "dead" and it became "Nulla Lex Ink." The "Ink." with a period is there as a pun on "Inc." It's supposed to be clever, but really it's just stupid. I still think it sounds cool, though.
