Bards
A reunion would yield a massive tour and any album to go along with it (with the usual caveats, timely release etc.) would comfortably outsell anything any of them have done post-UYI.What some people are missing or conveniently ignoring is that the people who followed GNR in the 80's/90's or even dug their tunes on the radio are now of the age where they've got the disposable income to blow obscene prices on tickets. They're also the last demographic actually buying CD's. Nostalgia? Sure. But it would be big.Dizzy better not be around. Why the fuck not?The fact you had to ask renders all your dad rock sneering moot. No, really. Why shouldn't Dizzy be there? Give me one legitimate reason.Literally all he does during all the cool tunes live, is play tambourine or congas...Dizzy's only contribution to the band is pretty much this: I don't mind that bacardi is trolling, I just wish he was better at it. bacardimayne
So now thinking dizzy should be there is trolling? You purists are fucking ridiculous.
Free Bird
The big difference between Metallica, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Van Halen, KISS, etc is that their careers have been long and productive whereas old GNR was a short period of time. Despite claims of how they were "the biggest band the worldzzz!!"...they really weren't, but that's a moot point. Loads of people think of GNR as an 80's band or (yikes!!) a hair metal cock rock band. They don't think of them in the same breadth or air as the aforementioned bands. Those other bands came before, lasted thru that period and continued, while GNR came and went fairly quickly without much output.AFD alone has more great tunes on it than Kiss and VH had released in their entire career. Now thats the difference Edited May 9, 2014 by Free Bird

Tom-Ass
A reunion would be fucking HUGELY successful if done right.. If Axl showed up in his current state it would suck.. Hopefully he would put 110% into it like he did back in the day. Get into shape for one. I mean good shape too. Have Duff train him. I bet that alone would do alot for his struggling vocals.
