Trin9498
Changed my mind. bucket's solos are way better than everyone else's. I just listened to 8 minutes of different bucket night train solos and they were legit!
Gordon Comstock
Buckethead's take is IMO not right at all for the song. He's immensely talented and with much better and more varied technique than Slash, sure... but if the feel isn't right it just doesn't fit. Seriously, I think Buckethead's take gives Nightrain another sound, which I really liked. I still prefer Slash's version since he wrote and recorded Nightrain but to be honest, Buckethead did an amazing job with that song.Pretty much this, the versions/era's are different enough for me that it's like listening to a reinvented version of the song. I hate to use Motley Crue as an example but it's like Shout At The Devil '83 and '97, but instead it's Nightrain and Nightrain '02.I even like the RAR solo but that whole song show was amazing. Otherwise though I only sometimes like Ron's Nightrain solo.
