I think things were going on at the last residency (because AEG's involved in this reunion), but a sign things thawed was the Slash Roxy DVD, because when he put Stoke out, he couldn't put the Guns songs on the video. 

Tom Mayhue seems to have had an involvement in Slash and Axl reconnecting, plus Duff. 

Perla was Slash's manager so that probably had to be sorted out when they divorced.

the GNR songs feature on the UK version of stoke though. surely axl had to approve?
