Eric Cantona
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44559261 "Koko - the gorilla known for her extraordinary mastery of sign language, and as the primary ambassador for her endangered species - passed away yesterday [Wednesday] morning in her sleep at the age of 46," a Gorilla Foundation press release said. "Koko touched the lives of millions as an ambassador for all gorillas and an icon for interspecies communication and empathy. She was beloved and will be deeply missed." The gorilla, who was said to have an IQ of between 75 and 95, could understand 2,000 words of spoken English. The average IQ for humans on many tests is 100, and most people score somewhere between 85 and 115.
SoulMonster
I am in favor of the Great Ape Personhood movement that wants to extend certain human rights to also encompass the great apes.

Georgy Zhukov
Koko was such a gentle soul. Friend to kittens. My heart broke when her she responded to one of her cats got out and got hit by a car. She signed her emotions "frown" "sad" and "sad sad sad" Very sad to hear this news.
dontdamnmeuyi2015
Oh so sad. I love how gorillas take care of themselves and their families. It's better than some people. RIP Koko. That girl's all right. On 6/21/2018 at 1:26 PM, action said: trump is devastated by the loss of his cousin lol Apes are all our cousins. We are all related, but sometimes I think it's the animals who are smarted and more caring than some people.
