soon
What goes with fries where you live? Or what do you like? And importantly: does it go on top or on the side? I love a poutine; fresh cheese curds and brown gravy on top of fries. Also just salt pepper on top and ketchup on the side. Also love Newfoundland fries which is essentially poutine plus stuffing/turkey dressing and peas. For fish and chips I use tarter sauce as fries dip. Silent Jay
Tartar sauce is all right, if homemade. I like Dijon mustard and Heinz Ketchup with my fries. Sometimes mayonnaise.

I think in France we have the best tasting mayonnaise because there is dijon mustard in its recipe. After that if you are really into cooking, you can make a decent Bearnaise, if not Andalouse sauce. I think with a good piece of meat the graal is what we call 'sauce aux morilles'. It's the best.

The fries are French, dijon is French and I think mayonnaise is French; so I'd accept that its true y'all likely make the best. Ive never gotten far passed the mother sauces, but would like to try that! The French I live near also feel strongly about their poutine which is, in part, why i listed it first

As was the quasi-poutine served in school cafeteria out side of Quebec. But its weird; if its really hyped and someone tries it for first time, they might just kinda shrug and be like "yeah, thats tasty, but not magical." But if one were to be good and hungry and just try it with out hype, then they too will say its one of the best foods.
