Mexico City authorities said is not justified the cancelling of Vive Latino festival. They are currently on phase 1 of corona virus. The lady is the mayor of the City

Ah, well. At least she got balls and is not falling into the panic. Of course, should the infections rise after that festival, there might be some things she has to answer for.

If the term spent in a band counts, then it counts! Some of the guys that with were with Axl/GNR from 97-2014 had nearly 20yrs in the band.

Doesn't really matter. It's more like they spent 20 years in Axl's solo band. Really, things are not always black and white, but in the GNR case it's really as clear cut as it can get. There really is a distinct line between original/remnants of GNR ad the band Axl tried to pass of as GNR. The transition in members from the originals to what we eventually had, didn't happen flowingly, where at least some played with the originals and contributed to material that formed and continued to form the reputation of GNR. Maybe things would look differently if they had released 10 albums together, but with one album to which some members didn't even fully contribute, makes it really an easy distinction.

To be fair, Black Sabbath did. Iommi was the sole member for about 3 albums late 80’s/early 90’s I think. Headless Cross is a very well thought of album. It just a ‘different era’. You either think of CD as a GNR album or you don’t - that’s it really.

Yes, but Tony Iommi was the riff master and they continued to pump out albums. Geezer stayed on for some of those. Bill was there when they got a new singer. And still, many do consider Black Sabbath with Dio or anyone else as a different band. Not the real Black Sabbath. And only once Ozzy returned the real Black Sabbath was back.

AC/DC is not AC/DC without Bon Scott or Mark Evans

Beatles are not the Beatles without Pete Best or Stuart Sutcliff

Metallica is not Metallica without Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton

    See how stupid that sounds?

None of these bands only kept one original member and kept going. So yes, it does sound stupid. The majority of the people from the original/almost original members are still there.

I've been laughing at this whole "THAT'S NOT GN'R" bullshit since I joined the forums around 2002.

I can't imagine living a life so sheltered. I'm super glad I don't live that way though. I would have missed out on tons of great GN'R shows if I did.

I don't consider those shows I saw between 2006 and 2012 as Guns N' Roses shows, but still enjoyed them. How about that?

Zero chance this or any concert is going to be held this summer, even if it gets better with everyone being quarantined they are not going to risk it by having thousands of people congregate with it still in the air, they are going to want a vaccination or treatment first before having people go out to mass gatherings, this is going to change life for a long time, even if there is a vaccination people are going to be really apprehensive about going to mass gatherings so I am guessing the concert industry is going to take a big hit for at least the next 5 years or so

Geez. Don't be so positive, sunshine.

I kind of prefer the 60's bonds, because bond was outrageously sexist in those movies. I appreciate them, from a kind of "observers" perspective, I can't exactly explain it.

I love how those movies are always a reflection of the times they were made in. So you really can see the reflection of half a century in those movies. So, all of them have something going for them. That's amazing.

OHMSS is one of my absolute favorite Bond films but you can't really judge the Lazenby run since it was one film.

OHMSS definitely is the best. Both the movie and the book. The only flaw the movie has is that they shot it out of order and unlike in the book, it wasn't the first time Bond and Blofeld met, so that screws things a bit up, if you watch it as part of the series. A couple of years ago, I visited Piz Gloria and Lauterbrunnen and it was simply breathtaking.

LOVE that show and the music they used. Crista Miller chose all the songs for Scrubs. She continued doing the same for CougarTown as well.

Didn't know there were other Scrubs fans on here!

How can you not like Scrubs??

Exactly - there's zero indication that the film is testing poorly with test audiences. This is absolutely not a production delay.

The marketing campaign is what I'm most curious about also. This is virtually unprecedented, at least in the modern era, that such a major film is so severely delayed so far into the marketing campaign; I mean tickets were already on sale for fucks sake! Multiple trailers, TV spots in nearly every ad break, the title song's release - all out the window for a 7 month delay. I feel that when the marketing campaign starts back up again in the fall, all of the hype will be deflated.

Who cares? It's still James Bond and in November the interest will still be there. A couple of TV spots, posters, magazines and maybe talk show appearances and all is back on track.
